I thought sakamoto looked quality. I’d happily swap right wingers!!!

Yeah same, only player (apart from rudoni) that threatened for me.

But they havent won an away game since the 1st of March and it seems sakamoto has been dreadful away from home.

Hate to sound negative but theres probably alot of RW id swap Roberts for. Ive really had enough of him now with his excellent dribbling with zero end product. I hope this is his last season for us being a first team player.

That seems to be a common theme tbh and they're right imo.

He reminded me of Tony Pulis, last night, with huge throw-ins and long crosses.

They showed very little quality and Lampard sat on his bench like he was dazzled by the lights or something <laugh>

I think us as fans overrate opposition RW when they dribble past our full back. Roberts does the same. He has 1 less G/A than sakamoto and 43 more chances created

we can do better than Roberts but yeah

Yeah i said before the game if we can limit "chaos" then they run out of ideas, for this level Lampard is solid enough just by keeping his football pretty simplistic and doing the basics really well - Ballard mitigated their long throws and our shape filled our box and meant the second balls were ours or blocked from them.

75% possession from them and i was only seriously concerned on 2 occasions, the goal wasn't even one of those.

Lot of opposition fans massively rate Roberts too, Bristol City fan on that championship pod had him as the best right winger in the playoffs.

Because he's excellent to watch as a mutual fan turning players inside out, but in reality he scores and creates feck all hence why he's in the Championship. His dribbling ability is unbelievable and big respect to him for that, but he offers feck all

Some good videos of our supporters last night, can you see anyone you know ...

... it was worth them equalising to see their little faces when we scored.

Pretty much yeah, theres also not many other options.

    The three opposing teams chose:
    Rigg
    Mayenda
    Roberts

as the best RW in the playoffs.

Couldn’t believe how direct they were, think Fell Top called him out days ago for being tactical inept, but being a media darling gets no mention

We seriously need to address this position in the summer aswell as the LW position. Look at any successful team. They all have wingers that score 15 plus goals a season. We havent got that so the onus is constantly on our striker(s).

Mundle has that in his locker but rarely fit

Watched the vast majority of that and that was some noise when our 1st goal went in. To be fair they were fairly sensible (for Coventry fans).

We need a LW regardless even just for depth and yeah at least 1 right winger, there'll be options out there just got to convince them

Pretty sure Roberts did the job Regis asked of him last night. Put a right shift in and was defensively good.

I thought he was great, just has no final ball.

    Useful in games like that

Hes a good player mate, no doubting that, but over a season if we want to progress we need someone that can score and create and not just take the pish out of players dribbling and then offering nothing after

Oh aye, we will upgrade in the summer no doubt. For me it is pace we need out there. I would keep Paddy in to fight for his spot, and he would be a capable backup. Who knows, competition for his spot might be the thing to drive him higher.
