I saw that one before when i was browsing his videos! I underestimated him before, him and Mr Woodnote together are just exceptional.

 

Can you recommend me anything else of his? I liked that this had an intriguing renaissance era feel to it for such a modern piece, is that his m.o?

that song gets to a point when you think right the rapping is starting to get on my tits then when woodnote comes in all is forgiven then the next time you know it's coming so enjoy the track more and the more you listen to it the more hooked you get....does that actually make sense

 

I'm all for people's opinions but to call a song someone else likes bollocks is a bit too far. I'd respect your opinion if you said it wasn't for you, as lets face it, it isn't for everyone, rather than just coming out with that.

Only have Ancient Airs and Dances which I would recommend, suite No. 3 being my favourite. All three suites have a renaissance style though. I think Respighi based much of his music on older styles and much of his stuff was either neo-renaissance or neo-baroque.

 

I just think to come out with something like that is a bit rude. Everyone has a different music taste and people should respect that, even if it's not to their taste, which in this case it isn't. Hell, look at Tash's taste, I'm fairly sure many on here don't like what he listens to, but you don't see people going round pointing out his music is bollocks do you?

Sorry, my mistake. It's just my mate really likes them, and i have to listen to it if i'm in his car, and i really don't rate them.

I wasn't having a proper go, I'll willingly accept the fact that people don't agree with my music, I'd just rather it said more respectfully on a thread where there is hardly any arguing whatsoever.
