Got no doubt under normal circumstances they would have had a ballot for the Brighton game but the p**pey debacle has put paid to that - they were floored by the low takeup for the p**pey 1st ballot and have never recovered. My advice for p**pey is to forget about hit or miss e-mail's - look for ticket details on your on-line account or that money has been debited from your bank/card account To be fair, I've always found the ticket office OK and staff to be courteous but the planning and execution of the p**pey arrangements due to police issues has found them wanting, I knew the 'bubble' would put a lot of people off, no-one likes restrictions imposed COYS
I'm sort of in the same position - although I actually only want to move along one seat (the guy who used to sit in the seat I want to move into no longer has a ST, so I'm now slightly cut adrift from the other five people I go with who are all the other side of his old seat). It's not the end of the world, because every game I simply ask whoever has bought a ticket for that seat if they'll swap with me (and they always have done) - but it would be a lot easier if the ticket office just moved me into that seat. So far though, no can do, because there's always an up-coming game(s) that they've already sold the seat for.
Yeah it's annoying for me especially as he is about 6 seats along now, and he's the only person I go to the game with. As you say not the end of the world though!
There were questions over there being a sell out, due to the lack of interest.....and saints fans scared of going to Fratton Park
Yeah but I think that's their stock answer, what all staff have been told to say. I applied in the 1st ballot and have heard nothing; however my bank account was debited for tickets/coach travel on Tuesday. Going to use that as evidence to get coach passes before tomorrow's game. Was under the impression that all who had applied and eligible in 2nd ballot had been successful COYS
