Yeah, I don’t see why a break clause would even be applicable in this case anyway.

‘We hired you to keep us up and you’ve done that but we want to sack you after 6 months. We also don’t want to pay off the remainder of your contract in full.’

Before last weekend, someone here raised the fact that a consortium are interested in us, in the event we stayed in the league. Canadian I think was mentioned. Now whether that was total rubbish or not, IF there is anyone interested inn the club then the incumbent manager is an added piece of the puzzle which might protect any decisions being made, even on the playing staff side..?

 

There is no Canadian consortium. The person who started that rumour claimed Acun was going to wipe the debt which was never going to happen.

 

Didn't Baz say there was a consortium but they weren't Canadian ?
