Other way around for me. Move Coyle on, leave Drameh in the squad and try and get a good operator at RB (aswell as getting a LB). Full back recruitment needs to be strong this summer, as well as in the forward areas (obviously).
Yeah upon reflection we’d also run the risk of him getting injured and having a fairly decent wage on the bill for another year. I suppose I just expect it to happen so am trying to come to terms with the decision before it happens
I think Coyle’s weaknesses are often exaggerated and Drameh’s underplayed. Drameh’s ability has been increased in the eyes of the fans as he’s never in the team. I also think there is the a benefit to the squad by having players who are part of the furniture in there.
There must come a time when a club can cancel a player's contract for not fulfilling their side of that contract. Particularly when the few comments that come out from the club suggest it's all in his mind! I know we all have a go at players in the team, such as Joseph, but give me a player giving 100% all the time over tossers like Sinik. The amount we have spent on him is scary.
He most certainly isn't over rated and it's already been explained why he doesn't make "worldies".... In fact I think he's under rated by most. His long range distribution needs to be and will be worked on over the summer
If he's as good as a lot are making out we won't have a chance of keeping him for next season. It's typical Hull City fans of over rating any player that plays well, although thats usually reserved for any youngster that comes through
I wouldn't say they're exaggerated, I genuinely think the reason he continues to get minutes is because he's a local lad with the captains armband (Thanks Rosey). Not so sure any other teams at this level would take him.
We'll have to agree to disagree as it's all based on opinions of other people's opinions. I think is an ok keeper who was easily our best player and due to his young age he has the capability to improve immensely
The reason he doesn’t have to make wordlies all the time is because his positioning and handling are absolutely exceptional. Probably the best I’ve seen at our club for a long time. There’s been so many times this season when I thought ‘this is a goal’ and he manages to save it. He will most likely go through some poor time at some time, but he’s the best keeper we’ve had since Boaz.
I do also think Pandur is a bit overhyped. Very good keeper but there’s a few in this division that bigger teams would be looking at ahead of him. I think he’s currently playing at his level too. Very young though for a first choice keeper which is great and he’ll only keep getting better. Hopefully he doesn’t end up on a PL clubs bench in the next couple of years.
