Arsenals season: Sacrifice the League Cup: Concentrate on the League, FA cup and CL Sacrifice the FA Cup: Concentrate on the League and CL Sacrifice the League: Concentrate on the CL Out of the CL: End the season with Bugger all.
I think PSG vs Inter makes sense as the final. They're the two most complete sides in the competition.
I think k we have seen the best in the semis with barca and inter. I think psg look a bit spent now. We got caught at a time when we were fading and they were peaking. Took them to pens though.
I assume this was a question about PSG ...surely he isn't talking about his own team? https://www.facebook.com/share/v/15UU4JsPVD/
Arteta is frustrated; and can't handle pressure. "Best team in the league best team in the Premier league"
Bit of a joke isn't it. He is such a bitter. Amazing how a few years in the wilderness at goodison before joining arsenal have made him such a nasty individual.
Kept coming second to his mentor, then when the mentor has a rubbish season someone else pops up in their place, so the Captain is having to come to terms with the fact that he's not good enough. I really wanted him to beat City to the title the last couple of seasons, but his whinging has changed my mind a bit.
If only they'd scored more goals they'd have won more games - if they'd won more games they'd have won the league. It's just not fair.
He only talked about the two times Arsenal were second to city and failed to talk about two times Liverpool were second to city only by one points. I think Arteta cannot take Arsenal further if they have to win the league.
They went well for a good while but have peaked and are now in need of change to get away from the slide. It's so negative now and dark arts rather than being positive and going and scoring goals. Another 250mil basically.
All to play for Sunday Post match he said they were the best team in the competition and something about the psg bench told him this.
It's really strange that it isn't called out for what it is. They play to win free kicks and corners and load the box. Then can't work out why Odegaard isn't influential any more What is he supposed to do with that game plan?
Thanks Sometimes in a one-off situation it's possible to say that the best team lost but not in a competition. He obviously can't see the priest on the mountain of sugar.
He has taken them backwards in terms of style. They used to be an exciting team to watch but this year especially they seem so focussed on set pieces which admittedly is a valid tactic and was working - but it seems to have cost them some of their actual build up and creating chances from open play. As you say Odegard has been off form and hard to know if that’s because of the tactics or the tactics have adapted because he’s out of form? It also seems like teams are working out how to defend their set piece routine now (much like teams eventually worked out how to stop delap’s long throw, or sheff United when they had underlapping cb’s in a back 3). Arteta hasn’t been able to adapt once teams figure that out - add in that this famed set piece coach doesn’t seem to be able to help them actually defend set pieces as shown by the numbers they concede.
Exactly! I don't see that doughnut on the touchline when they're defending a set piece, but he wants his face all over the camera when they're taking one They're comedy gold.
