RLB saying all the right things.

Actions speak louder than words though, excited to see on Friday if they match what he’s saying.

Leeds Away - ELF left
Boro Away - ELF Left
Burnley Away - ELF Left

All with Isidor and Rigg, Roberts right.

Isidor with two great goals and 2 missed pens.
ELF with the assist against Boro and he did put one on a plate for Isidor against Burnley.

Watosn got a run on the left against sheffield away, but that was november, pre ELF.

Pretty much guaranteed to so ELF left, Rigg central, Roberts right, tough decision on Isidor or Mayenda.

For what it's worth we were great in all the away games above with the side we're most likely going to see Friday. For me it's all about intensity, desire and ultimately execution. We'll be under the cosh for the first15-20 mins and have our own spell for the last 15 of the first half if those previous away trips above are anything to go by.

We’ve been poor in more games than we’ve been good with that set up though. Undoubtedly played well out on the left a few times but how many times did he beat his man? He was using his great footballing brain to play some ridiculous flicks and tricks around players but a lot of that was in or around the half way against Boro and Burnley and relying on other players overlapping. We need our wingers to be able to run beyond defenders otherwise any full back with half a brain will just back off and make him come back inside which is what we keep seeing. He has to play centrally for me and go with Watson on the left, Rigg has been ****e since the turn of the year.

Tommy, Wilson, mayenda, kill them with pace, no good breaking if we have to come back on ourselves when we get near the box and allow them to set

Yes but importantly we were good in the games that mattered, against the top sides.

I'd have him central to but emotions aside, particularly after our last 5 games, that side played very well in the 3 games I mentioned.

That question about Lampards experience as a player in big games giving him an edge is genuinely bizarre. Being a player, and being a coach are like chalk and cheese. I have a feeling Lampard wont sleep tomorrow night due to nerves and stress. He was literally all over the place with Derby across 3 games. Twisting about Leeds spying, getting beat at home easily, winning at Leeds and calling it his greatest achievement only then to completely blow the team selection at Wembley. He was like a cat on a hot tin roof throughout. It wouldnt surprise me one bit if someone at Sunderland hasnt had a word with Regis and Mundle will actually start Friday. It is the sort of thing that will get under Lampards skin and panic him.

Got the 2nd leg horribly wrong and only changed it because Holmes got injured. People forget that Leeds were well on top at that point, Marriott came on and scored straight away because of a horrible mistake.

Dunno if it’s nerves or excitement setting in but I can’t think of anything else right now
Exactly how it should be mate. Nervous excitement, belly turning like a washing machine, unable to sit still, drinking beer to fast as you wait for kick off, screaming at every decision good or bad and singing along with the crowd.
It is what makes this game beautiful and what makes us love our team.
Or as Bob says just relax and think of England lol.

Same here mate and I really need to concentrate on a big project with work today and tomorrow, but it's proving difficult.

God know what I will be like Tuesday
