shame - Brundle was an excellent lead with Coulthard there too - very good combo! I will only be watching BBC so will be very sad not to have Martins voice :(he has been there since i started watching F1

Also on the Sky website (here), the very last question seems to me to be a subtle hint that The Chain will also be making its way across to Sky. If the BBC end up with something else I will be genuinely disappointed!

Disappointed Croft's going across. Coulthard, Watson and Allen would all have been better in my opinion. Pleased Ted is going, and I reckon the show with him and Georgie will be decent.

I see someone is talking up the idea of Mr. J Clarkson for the BBC commentary role. No. He'd have to be the presenter, as a passionate F1 fan, he may offer something new.

The more Sky rub it into the face of the majority, the more likely they will chuck it back into their faces and let the series in Britain die. Face it, unless a Brit is winning the numbers plummet 2-3 million, but this time the diehards won't back up the numbers like we did through the Schumi era.

Taking the chain will break the camels back and just watch F1 fans really react when we return to Silverstone. LOL! Sky won't know what hit them when there are signs all over the track saying "Piss off Sky" "BBC true home for F1"

So much self-righteuous **** being spouted on here about Sky and has been for some time.

Everyone ignoring the fact that every other tabloid has also hacked phones?

I bet most of the poeple who come on here saying they won't get Sky, already have it, or will get it for F1, or will watch it through VirginMedia becuase it's not directly through Sky but you'll still watch it.

Oh look, here comes another bandwagon to jump on..........

Anyone not watch the Chinese GP becuase of their human rights record? Thought not.

Looks like BBC are trying to cut costs even more by thinking of having the same commentary team for both the radio and tv. <doh>

Why the **** did BBC even want to keep any of the F1? They clearly do not give a crap about it, but instead they prevented a chance of it staying exclusively on free for view because they wanted to say they still show F1 without actually showing all of it, paying as little money as possible towards it, and putting in as little amount of effort as they can get away with.

BBC are obsessed with saving money, Sky are obsessed about making money.

people are just bitter because they have got to put there hand in there pocket and divvy up for sky if they want the coverage ,

i cant really see what sky has done wrong , the bbc clearly have there priorities elsewhere with there moronic soap and game shows to service there vast tabloid comic mentality viewer and clearly dont see F1 as majority viewing so sky has taken the broadcast over ,

i cant really see what sky has done that is so terrible , lets have it right they are a buisness that are in the buisness of making money not the salvation army, if people want one of there services they cant expect sky to provide it for free willy nilly --

That's because he remembers what happened to the last Sky expert pundit who got over-excited at a fellow member of the commentary team at the wrong moment.

I find it quite funny that most people able to watch all the races next year are being hostile to the anti Sky brigade individuals, where as I don't see it come from "our side", well I'm not insulting people directly just at Murdoch and co.

So what's with all the insults directed at people here?

maybe people cant understand why you actually think murdoch and sky are to blame for taking over the F1 broadcast silver ,

they have only bought the rights to show the F1 coverage which they are entitled to do ,it is just unfortunate that such is the nature of sky you have to pay for the service ,
--------- what exactly are they doing that is so awful -

It's simple, I dont like one entire company buying all the sports in the world that we were once able to watch on our license fee and pretty much go, "If you want to carry on watching it, better cough up more"

"What exactly are they doing that is so awful -" Taking it away from 80% of the fans maybe?

Ok that's an opinion, but that's what the majority of the fans are thinking I would gather!
