Chelsea are prepared to sell up to 6 players in January 1. Didier Drogba, 2. Nicolas Anelka, 3. Salomon Kalou, 4. Jose Bosingwa, 5. Paulo Ferreira and 6. Alex. Chelsea's January transfer targets are 1. Luka Modric, 2. Gary Cahill, 3. Alexandre Pato, 4. Alvaro Pereira, 5. Gregory Van Der Wiel and 6. Kevin De Bruyne.

As Chelsea look towards the future without Drogba and Anelka whom Chelsea have accepted a transfer request from. Chelsea will need a replacement striker and AC Milan's Pato is on the list. Chelsea have accepted a transfer request from Alex as well which means Chelsea will need a centre back and AVB is keen on bringing Bolton's Gary Cahill to Stamford Bridge. Chelsea will want to get Salomon Kalou off the wage bill this could open the door for Genk's left winger Kevin De Bruyne. Chelsea have long been admiring FC Porto's first choice left back Alvaro Pereira. Chelsea failed to bring Pereira to Stamford Bridge in the summer but will try again in January. Chelsea are also going to offload both right backs Jose Bosingwa and Paulo Ferreira which means Chelsea will try and bring in the dutch right back Gregory Van Der Wiel.

The long never ending story of Luka Modric to Chelsea. Luka Modric handed in a transfer request to join Chelsea in the summer which was denied by Tottenham Hotspurs Chairman Daniel Levy. Chelsea offered two bids to Tottenham for Modric both in the region of 25 and 30million and both bids were rejected because Daniel Levy thought Modric is worth far more than those bids. Then on the last day of the transfer window Chelsea offered Tottenham a £40million offer which was rejected by Daniel Levy again. Chelsea will continue the pursuit of Modric in January and from selling players to raise funds and the funds given to AVB from Chelsea's multi-billionaire owner Roman Abramovich Chelsea will launch another staggering offer for Modric to temped Daniel Levy to sell his star player. But will Modric consider a move to Chelsea this time round especially as his team Tottenham are on the ascendancy this season who are just two points behind 2nd place Manchester United and Spurs have a game in hand in the English Premier League.

I wonder if the rediscovered form of Drogs may now persuade us to give him the 2 yr contact he's after.I'd bet if they got his wages down they'd keep him. If he left he'd only get that kind of money in China!

Absolutely it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to keep Drogba on a one or two year deal considering his age. It looked like he was back to his best against Valencia.

Lazy journos. There is no chance of this deal happening in Jan. Maybe and only a maybe in the summer if say Spurs again failed to qualify for the C.L.

Because we all know Danny boy is typical and loves a pound note a'la Berbatov Trust me with him its all about business. He'd sell his grandmother if the price was right.

Not the ****ing Modric saga again. We've been through this enough already.

As for the other ones, I'd like Drogba to stick around, especially as I have no trust in Torres whatsoever. If both Bosingwa and Ferreira go there'd better be someone coming in. I also wasn't terribly impressed with de Bruyne the one game I saw, although it was only one game. If Basel hadn't progressed in the CL I wouldn't mind possibly Shaqiri, though once again it was a single game. I feel it's our midfield that really needs something right now.

  12. In all seriousness, can I also add, that we will not be buying Fat Frank any time soon. Why? Because we do not need any more bench-warmers at our club.

Furthermore, might I add, that we will buy Drogba from you, but only at our valuation, not yours.

    Thank you <ok>

Since when has Spurs been a big enough club to dictate to anybody what they will pay? You pay what we insist and if you don't like it go elsewhere.<ok>

With regards to the Modric situation the word is that unless diving Davey comes up with a real wage increase and not unrealistic bonus's Modric will again be putting in another transfer request whether you like it or not.<ok>

  14. Transition is the hardest part of any power-shift, so I do not blame you for your observations.

However, be assured that it is us - the mighty Spurs - who, from January, will be viewed as the only viable title-challengers to £ity. What player (other than those taking £ity's bribe) would not want to be part of the mighty Spurs juggernaut? I certainly cannot think of one.

We will have to agree to disagree on this because you will shoot yourself in the foot like you have done since 1961 and for my money you will always be small time.<ok>

They'll still be up there, they just need January to come fast. This month will be very tough and hopefully Wolves stand up to them this weekend.

  20. Hey, Drogs, I think United have looked shaky all season; and the injury to Vidic is just about the worst thing that could have happened to them. Sure, they can look to "strengthen" in the Jan window, but I'm not so sure they have the cash to spend to get in who they need.
