Defensively, he won’t be missed. His passing ability will be though.

I guess we now wait and see how badly Madrid want him in time for the club World Cup. Can’t officially join on a freebie in time but can be sold so be interesting if they cough up a few mil to get him over there. Won’t be enough for his talent but gives a bit of money towards the transfer kitty

I suspect he’ll struggle to win the fans over as soon as he gets caught out of position a couple of times. I hope not though, that boy could light up the league with his range of passing. I hope he succeeds, despite my concerns.

KdB on a pay as you play deal anyone? It’ll never happen but; just some light hearted speculation. If he weren’t as injury prone, he’d not have been let go.

I do think though, that with Trent gone, we need that creative 6 in the ‘quarterback role’ even more now.

Coutinho is a Brazilian who ended his Brazilian career very quickly and got his "dream" of free medals for no effort.

Of the two political buys barca made to make up for messi dembele is at least doing something now with psg.

Coutinho is only 32 now.but his career has been in the toilet for 5 years.

    Just kdb.

    Buy someone for 5 years.

    Someone to push gravenberch.

I wouldn't be adverse to pushing macallister to 10 to push the line as Szoboszlai has a bit to do there.

Pearce says "Liverpool offered to make Trent the highest paid full-back in the Premier League and one of the highest paid in world football."

I think that Szobs has done great. There was a spell when our entire midfield was fooked due to the lack of quality cover and they all looked leggy. We need a decent midfielder who has a range of passing along TAA lines for those low blocks and fast breaks. Easier said than done.

So we tried. Hopefully that’s the end of the talk of Trent. Give him his send off on the 26th and then he’s behind us. Good luck to the lad and all that….

I’d keep him if we can keep him happy as a second choice to Kerkez (or whoever replaces him)

either way, with Trent home and Robbo due to be replaced, it truly is the end of a great era - one that saw significant success.

    I’d sell tsimikas before Robbo.

With TAA going, selling Robbo would weaken that leadership group off the pitch and he’s still a far better defender than Tsimikas. Hes not going to be worth huge money either way so don’t see point selling him.
