It’s not really my point. Win today and we more or less guarantee champion league. Eddie has tried to manage games in the past and failed miserably. If he is trying to do the same points wise then it will all implode. He’s not a tactician. So he should stop trying to be. Get the players doing what they do best. But let’s hope Liverpool have not been bunged £5m to lose today.
That was a dreadful performance across the board, good result in the grand scheme of things. 6 more points and we are in the CL - a draw vs Chelsea and a win vs Everton might be enough as well. Doesn’t help the bindippers are trying to throw their game against Chelsea though.

We have to get to probably 69 points and today was always about not losing imo. The win would have been ideal, but win lose or draw beating Chelsea is the most important win. Win both home games and it's done and without this point that wouldn't be the case.

Id like to see Barnes and Gordon start. There can be more fluidity in the front three, and Murphy looks like his purple patch is well and truly done. Huge shame Joelinton isn’t here, what a ****ing time to lose him. Disagree on Wilson, he’s useless. A bit of pace and unpredictability would have been a real shot in the arm.
Its about time the ref's watches were linked up to the stadium clocks so it can be transparent when the ref is stopping his watch and what for 7 mins of VAR intervention and 5 second half subs yet 9 mins of added in those 9mins we have 4 subs and a booking for Welbeck yet we get 45 seconds added onto the 9 I've seen some of our games go on for minutes after the allotted time with no visible stoppages
We need Liverpool to win now, Bournemouth to beat villa and Newcastle to beat Chelsea and we'll have to try really hard to **** it up after that.
