Fully expect wilder to go too.. Fans aren’t happy with him if we were to sack RLB, wouldn’t mind Manning. Done a cracking job at Bristol
Really interested to see where Russell Martin ends up. I know he's not everyones cup of tea but I really like him.
I like that personally. I like coaches who are 100% committed to their philosophy and don't really go away from it. I'm not a fan of coaches who change game by game.
I really dislike him me ( in case that wasn't obvious ). Thought his comment at MK DONS when asked about having a plan B in games, "No we don't have a plan B, if plan A isn't working then do plan A better" just rubber me the wrong way and id prefer a coach who's able to adapt - he's shown so many times he can't.
I agree with him to be honest. You've bought and built your squad to suit a style, no point trying to change it. Take Alex Neil for example, constantly 'adapting' to the opposition which is fine when he comes in to teams mid season but he's show he can't build a team from scratch.
in fairness i think martin has shown he needs a significantly better squad to have any level of success and his style of football is suicide half the time
100%. Bit like Kompany. Think he can adapt though, switched to a back 5 for the last game of the season and the playoff final against Leeds
Yeah similar, just bores me to death watching 20 passes in your own box - the map of their most played passes this season was really telling, top 10 most played passes all backwards and in their own half. Rather quick transition football but its just preference ain't it.
Yeah definitely. Just want a bit more control of games here, really not a fan of sitting in a 442 block when you don't have pace out wide
While I'm watching the Liverpool game I did a search for his profile, or any name like it ... ... surprise, surprise, there isn't anything. It makes you wonder
