The Championship season 25/26 also finishes 3rd May.

365 days max until these utter amateur ****ing clowns are out of our club. Granted there's a fairly good chance we'll be a league 1 team, but at least they'll be gone. The pricks.

You really can't say they haven’t invested. You could say that they have invested poorly because they have spent a sh*tload of cash on mainly crap players.

I really do think that we should give SR another chance next season. They have shaken things up with Spors and his new team. There is only one way to find out.

I've given them multiple chances. They've ****ed up practically every time. I'm not giving them another one.

(Of course, as ever, would loved to be proven wrong)

I’ve seen enough. They didn’t make an attempt to survive this season, it’s unforgivable.

    SR OUT.

SR have been absolutely woeful. I get it. Seemingly endless terrible football decisions culminating in this almighty wet **** of a season, and a second embarrassing relegation under their ownership. As fans we pour our money, time, hearts and hopes into the club, and everything on the pitch in these past two PL seasons has been far beyond what even the most pessimistic fans could have foreseen. That they seem to be making positive strides on the development of things off the pitch which should help what we all care about on the pitch in the longer term thanks to the shackles of PSR isn't a concern for the average fan so gets overlooked. And fair enough tbh. What do we care about as fans? We have to to live with the embarrassment on the pitch every single ****ing week, and that the commercial side has seen improvements? Well, who gives a **** when you support the worst ****ing side ever!
But, the guy at the top who has poured his own money into buying the club and funding us, who doesn't know anything about football so rightfully kept out of it until now, has seen how bad it is and made big changes to the way we operate as a football club. He brought a new football guy in and let him take the time to evaluate all the football operations and he has made numerous changes and new appointments. We have a new structure and new team behind the scenes which thank heavens includes a completely new recruitment team. The changes will continue with a new manager, hired by the new football guy, and what will likely be huge change in the playing staff in the summer. SR that run the football side of Saints is not the same SR that have run us into the ground and made us the biggest laughing stock in football. We all want to voice our disgust at what they've done to us, but the people making the football decisions have all changed. We won't ultimately know if the changes have been a success or not for some time, but I'm willing to wait and see because to me this is a different SR now.

Invested an average of £20m* a season since they took over. Not exactly what I'd call solid financial backing.

*Player sales/buys since their take over, using figures from transfer Market.

Good and fair post but I'm with Lovelocum. They've ****ed up everything they've touched, Spors isn't the answer

He simply can't be, for 2 reasons.

Firstly SR have appointed him. They've not got one single appointment right the entire time they've been here. Secondly and most importantly, I don't think anyone can sort this **** out. Think of both the time and financial constraints he'll be under, it simply can't be done. If someone had a fraction of that ability to completely gut and recruit an entire first team and a new manager on a smallish budget they sure as **** wouldn't be here. The blokes not a literal Wizard.

We don’t know. Personally I have a very strong feeling that we will only ever be disappointed with SR. If I’m proven wrong I’ll be happier than Chris Akabusi.

Kriss is a West Ham fan, so even he’s not that happy right now!

You may of course be right. I’m optimistic though. He’s started by doing the right thing in gutting the hopeless recruitment team, so he has my faith for now.

On your first point. He wasn't appointed by anyone who made any of the series of **** football decisions previously, so not sure he should get tarred with the same brush there. It is fair to be concerned that he was appointed by Solak who doesn't know anything about football, but it's still at least separate from any football appointments that were made before. And he's not dumb, he's a business man who will have done his due diligence.
On your second point, it is a massive job he's got on his hands absolutely. But if you don't think anyone can sort this **** out, then Spors is as worth giving a go as anybody. We will also have a big budget in comparison to the rest of the league, bar the other relegated clubs, and Birmingham if you believe their owner.

Unfortunately I think Spors has the worst of both worlds, he needs a chance yes as do the other new recruits but they also need to understand there will be no grace period with the fans and rightfully so. How long do we give before we turn? As others have said, they deserve time but how much? What if it takes them a few seasons to find their footing? Sorry but the fans will not give them that time because of how much SR have ****ed things up previous. They kinda have to absolutely nail it in one window or they are in for a season of **** from the fans, that’s if any turn up.

I just don’t see how anyone at this point can be so stern about “let’s give them a chance and wait and see eh?” they get one window and if it is the exact same bollocks as usual, i.e we do absolutely nothing for weeks, zero transparency with fans, struggle to get any of the targets, fail to get a manager quickly, the season starts without the manager having the players he wants, dead wood that should have sold seasons ago, then no, no wait and see, pack up and **** off. Absolutely nothing SR has done warrants anymore wait and see. And I think it’s far past the point of fans being entitled, unfortunately when you make nothing but relentless **** decisions it gets very hard to have any faith.
