Yeah I've got it - load of **** if you ask me. Why fix something that isn't broke? If I wanted a more realistic game, Id simply go and have a kick about
What's the best jockey to do, if you have PS3 is it L2 or X? I just got the game so am trying to get to grips without dropping down a level ( only play WC or above).
Same as me. I refused to drop down a level so the learning curb was tough. I use x normally and l2 for corners. Use standing tackles (much improved) rather than sliding, it can be just as effective and u can get a second chance whereas sliding tackle it's all or nothing.
I never really used the sliding tackle in the old games, but even the standing tackle I am struggling with. I think it is my timing and getting used to the changing of the buttons ( second defender, what x and o now do, etc). Overall it is good though, I am trying to find a correct formation for my manager mode, just bought Gourcuff and trying to fit everyone in is hard! Oh and they were harsh on Coates! He is one of the top young defenders in the world and is only a 70 and grows only to 80! Apparently the new cheat guy is doumbia from CSKA, just runs around everyone for fun.
Afternoon, I've been told that Skyrim is a follow on from Oblivion - is Obvilion any good then and should you play that before Skyrim ?
Indirectly. It's in the same world but new plot etc. Tried Oblivion but never got into it, too unpolished for me and just didn't tick enough of the boxes. Theres no need to play it beforehand.
Saw this on the Newcastle board...
**** it's windy up here though. Stupidly took the dog for a walk earlier and had to chase her **** for about 60m up the path!
I use L2 mostly. I use X rarely and use R1 (Secondary press) to close down players. Unfortunately I dropped down a level and I'm still having problems against the CPU..
"I want to talk about facts. I want to be clear, I do not want to play mind games too early, although they [Manchester United] seem to want to start. But I have seen some facts." "During the Respect campaign – and this is a fact – Mr Ferguson was charged by the FA for improper conduct after comments made about Martin Atkinson and Keith Hackett. He was not punished. He is the only manager in the league that cannot be punished for these things." "At Christmas United played on the 29th and the rest of the teams played on the 28th. We were away against Newcastle two days after playing Bolton. They were playing about 40 hours later, they were not complaining then." "And about his behaviour with referees. The Southampton manager, he knows how Mr Ferguson works and how he works, he was very clear. I am not playing mind games, just facts." "All managers need to know is that only Mr Ferguson can talk about the fixtures, can talk about referees and nothing happens. We need to know that I am talking about facts, not my impression. There are things that everyone can see every single week." "I am not telling the authorities what to do. But I have been here for five years and know how things are going on. I will be watching United's game with Chelsea. The result does not matter to us, if we win at Stoke that result does not matter." "We had a meeting in Manchester with managers and FA about the Respect campaign. And I was very clear, forget the campaign because Mr Ferguson was killing the referees, killing Mr Atkinson, killing Mr Hackett. But he is not punished. How can you talk about the respect campaign and criticise the referee every single week? You can analyse the facts and come to your own decision and ideas." - Great stuff Rafa, thanks for the memories, always had LFC at heart!
Raging after last night, starting to get the hang of it and they aren't slicing me open as before but, the standing off is well annoying! I know that you are blcoking the passing lanes but damn step up a little! Also, played Stoke away and I guess it was realistic, 17 chances on goal- 0 goals for me, 1 sog-1 goal, ****ing Peter Crouch. If you have the game, Kagawa is awesome btw.
It's painfully realistic isn't it bluff. Having to constantly harass them into making errors or never scoring then getting hit hard on the counter is just like the game itself. Down to personal opinion whether that makes for a better game or not I suppose.
and my timing on the standing tackle is still in the works so trying to get that down is a pain in itself! Still working on getting a formation that gets numbers up at the moment playing 4-2-3-1 with Suarez, kagawa, and Gerrard all behind Carroll or Sow.
is it me or is Linda getting hotter and hotter? http://twitter.com/#!/Linda_Pizzuti Definite MILF there (from a 22 y.o's POV)
Just imagine that she is not JW Henry's wife, you're in California and this woman says to you... "I'll be in Santa Barbara, CA on Saturday, & my hotel doesn't have Fox Soccer plus. Anyone know where I can watch the 7AM LFC match there?" I don't know how to describe a more perfect woman.
Two things: 1.) Lately my captain on fantasy prem has done fook all...... therefore Cerny is my captain for this week. 2.) FIFA heads, I have simmed a few games in manager mode and have received a red card in literally almost every game, anyone else come across that? It is always a defender too.
