Might need my tin hat on here but got to say how I see it. I think this is unfair personally. The two posters in question, at times I think are harsh to the team/club, maybe too harsh (just imo) I don’t think what they say is necessarily unfair even if I disagree with what they say sometimes (other times I agree). This forum is great, RTBs threads are class. Imo the forum would be dead if we don’t accept differing opinions, even if extreme one way or the other. We all love the club, we all want to be pissed as farts signing our hearts out watching us gain promotion to the prem at Wembley. But at the minute, and for a while, we’ve been really really poor. It’s okay to criticise, even at a group of players I think are unanimously liked amongst all supporters.
Thick and thin mate, can’t just climb on the bandwagon when it suits, criticism is all well and good but at times it’s viscous and any self respecting supporter would call people out like that
That’s fair enough mate, I just see it as a forum and a few hundred people see it and I think it’s better if there is differing opinions. Maybe naive but genuinely don’t think there’s many on here who don’t want the club to do well. I can see the difference mate. Just think it’s better for the forum if posters aren’t pushed out for differing opinions. I can see when there’s posters who aren’t trying to contribute and ruin threads but didn’t see that here, just my opinion of course.
Absolutely no idea how these playoff games will go now. I still have a lot of faith in the team as they have earned that at least but it's hard to see an easy win and Coventry is the worst opponent for us so my faith is definitely being tested. We do need to have a plan to deal with Haji Wright. If we don't have one then starting Joe Anderson and having him scythe him down in the first minute is probably out best other option Also I don't think we were that bad but we were very very slow in play. Speed it up and we have a chance.
Plenty of people, perhaps everyone, have criticised the team today, myself included. To say 'some people won't hear a bad word' is nonsense tbh. There's nothing wrong with criticism and those who criticise don't always draw criticism of themselves. What I don't want to hear, week after week, are people telling me how they decided not to go, how they left because they were bored and how long they lasted before they walked out. People who are so bored they carry on posting when they get to the pub with their mates and carry on posting when they're home with their family. Now that's what I call really really boring ...
After a disappointing end to the season we have to accept that the last 5 games were not good enough, most of us have had our moan about the team, the players, the manager and his staff but now it all boils down to semi final against a team that has some kind of witchs curse on us and then the final. I personally think the cov match is the ideal time to put everything that has happened between the two sides over the years to bed, let's attack these feckers and come away with a win down there and then onward to the final. It's our turn to feel the glory of getting the better of the big games against the jimmy hill ****as. Let's get behind the team for another 3 games that'll take us to the prem
Boro were the bogey team we couldn't beat ... ... yet without the six points we took off them they'd be in the playoffs now. It's three games against teams not good enough to go up automatically, that's all.
Wembley curse was the last one, if everyone pulled together on and off the pitch we would be invincible
There are quite few good posters who have left here already. I bit back a lot today because I’m fed up of the negativity - particularly from those mentioned. A lot of people joined not606 to avoid the chaos of the RTG forum but some just want to bring this site down to the same level.
