Don't get me wrong mate I don't think the last 5 games have gone as planned. I don't think RLB actually set us up to sit back and not give 100%.
It's just a hard one for the players and the fans. It's actually quite hard to go all out when your not really playing for anything.
The players will be holding back, us as fans have been flat, that's not having a go, but even if we'd won our last few home games I don't think the SOL would have been bouncing.
2 years ago our road to the play offs was amazing, Roberts last minute equalising wonder goal, the last day of the season when everything just went our way.
We were absolutely bouncing then, only to go in to the play off with no CBs and half a team carrying injuries.
The play offs will be a totally different ball game to the last 5. The away support at Coventry will be unbelievable, then the SOL will be at its best.
Yes our run in has been **** and I can understand why so many people are upset and sceptical for the play offs but non of that matters, what matters is the next 2 then hopefully 3 games

Does my head in some are naturally more optimistic than others I’m a glass half full fan but the point scoring every week is getting on my tits, we all view the game the way we view it all opinions are valid and absolutely fine

The only thing we should all agree on currently - we’ve been terrible for weeks and weeks, can’t be fancied in these play offs.

Maybe consider how you post and the words of your posts? Criticism is one thing, but your posts very often come across as you know best and everyone else including the club are hopeless.

    It tends to grate

I'm somewhere in middle to be honest. It's been so utterly flat these last few games but the games have had no meaning. I'm not a professional athlete but it must be hard to really commit emotionally when you know an injury, sending off could stop you playing in the biggest matches of your career. We could batter Coventry and it wouldn't surprise me. We have the players. They could batter us also but the two play off games will be a completely different game. If the likes of jobe, Neil, enzo, and Rigg are really elite players then these are the games they have to perform and make a difference.
I'm clutching at straws, I know that but by Friday we'll be a few beers in and looking forward to it. I'm genuinely not sure how we will play... maybe that's all part of rlb's plan

Aye I’m struggling to argue a case for us but stranger things have happened I guess I’ll cling to out, it’s a lottery and would be Sunderland as **** to win it after this run of form

Ha'way lads... Lets forget the last 5 / 6 games and concentrate on next Friday, then the following Tuesday. Whats Happened is now dead history, nothing we can do. For those lucky enough to get down to Coventry shout your lungs out...get these back to the SOL where it will be rocking... We all know what this squad is capable of... Let hope and pray their collective potential comes through for these next 2 games. If we get past Coventry, I genuinely fancy our chances against either Bristol or Shff Utd in a one game... I cam happen lads

Win both legs 3-0, Rigg hattrick (all assisted by Roberts) in the first leg, Roberts hattrick (all assisted by Rigg) in the second leg. Win the final on penalties after Patto equalises from a last minute corner, Isidor scores the winning penalty.

    Perfect redemption arcs.
