I think he meant now that the bloke who released him is no longer with us.

Unless he was sent down recently he's out. I'm terrible with names, but I'm pretty certain it was him I met 2 or 3 years ago at work, so he'd be living up in Fife now.

Don't know about this season, but last season he was frozen out at Mansfield and seemed to be at a fair few games until he joined Little at Gainsborough. His other half is a City fan as well though.

Waggy went to the recent Burnley game. He told me it was his first game for 2 years. He called it 'dreadfull' and refers to city as 'your team' (He knows I go) - He hated Nigel Pearson by the way !

I don't understand why people always feel the need to ignore the obvious to find a sign of confrontation though. His attendance is still more likely to have been because for once the game was on a Wednesday rather than the same day Bradford were playing.

I didn't even realise he was at Gainsborough until I noticed somewhere that he scored last week.

It's alright, I wouldn't have even known he was at Mansfield if I didn't know his other half.

May be a big ask OLM but can you give us an update on all the old players who work for the club and in what capacity?

Ian Ashbee is Hull City through and Through, he has said so himself, I really hope he gets recognised for his efforts when he hangs up his boots. I would go to his Testominial

Linton Brown is commercial manager, John Hawley looks after the match day sponsors and Rob Dewhurst, Stan McEwan, Justin Whittle and Peter Skipper work in corporate areas(there might be more, but they're the ones I know).

Are you wanting all the coaching staff as well or just the non-footballing jobs for them? (Mann is/was doing youth recruitment)

Whittle works as a postman in Brough, and whilst he does get free tickets from the club, he gives them to my girlfriend's family half the time.

Simpkin was jailed about a year or two ago for prostitution in Bradford or somewhere.

I have always found it interesting, that many people outside Hull call it a dump, why many City players over the years that have come to the area to play have actually stayed after their playing career ended. Of cause it maybe that the married a girl from the area, but it cannot be such a bad place.

Other than Linton Brown and Johnny Eyre, all the other players that work at the club also have proper jobs and Justin is indeed a postie in Brough.
