The last thing Bruce got right!

Well the dithering about meant he was actually forced into a last minute loan deal for Bendtner.
But could it be a good thing he is only on loan and we weren't forced to buy him?

Don't get me wrong, I was one of the ones who thought it was good for us to get Nick.
I thought at the time his style of play didn't suit Arsenals style.
We have seem some world class football from him, sadly not in the areas we want it.
A lot of the time the way we were set up actually kept him away from the box.
Last week showed me he still has some great touches.
But also a lack of desire or willingness to get into the box.
If I recall rightly, one of the only times he was in the danger area was when Ricco scored!
I was very disappointed in this lack of effort to get on the end of reasonable attacks.

Maybe now that MON is here, he can focus Nick on actually getting into position to score goals.

I watched the second half of the reserves the other night and have to say I was impressed with the passing and movement off the ball.
And a striker who was willing to go the extra yard to get into goal scoring positions.
Collected 4 goals for his efforts.
Age 20

So maybe Bruce was right to only take him on loan?

I still think Nick's a good player can MON bring that good player to the fore?

 

The last thing Bruce got right was not letting the door hit his arse on the way out, therefore no claim against the club for injured spine (that's assuming the doctors could find it).

Got to say I was ****ing furious with Bendtner last week. I don't think he even put 50% in against Wolves, so I'm hoping that MON can kick his arse into gear. On his day he is a cracking player, but he really has been poor the last few games and needs to buck his ideas up if he is selected to play.

 

The only thing I was impressed with with Bendtner was his touch to Sess that set up Richo's goal. That was it. And he didn't really do to much. He could have controlled the ball and played it to Sess instead of doing the backheel, but it came off for him and was a joy to behold. But yeah, nowt much else tbh.
