Set menu stuff, so grilled sardines starter and then a sirloin steak as main. The steak was cooked well, the chips were excellent, and the sauce was good too. Going next weekend as well, pre Manics, should be in less of a rush so will likely go off the main menu then. The house white wasn't great. Definitely worth upgrading to the White Rioja.
They've updated the menu. I assume that's still on there, but didn't look at the fish options last night.
Hake, one of my favourites ... Best ever had was from the chippy on the harbour at Mevagissey in Cornwall...
