If you were to pick any footballer, past or present, that you believed you played like at your peak, who would it be. For myself I would pick Colin Bell the former Man City player. Box to box, good ability on the ball and defending and chipping in with the occasional goal.
Well I was pretty ****e at football at school, so Emmanuel Riviere I guess. On the occasion I would score it would be Riviere-esque, ie like his 1 league goal against QPR where he mangled the ball up in his legs and it managed to go in cos the keeper was deceived by such a ludicrous mistake. I've always been good at running though, so maybe Rasmus Hojlund, ie the way he sprints around the pitch like a headless chicken regardless of where the ball is.
Davide Santon - Right footed full back, comfortable on either flank but jack of all trades, master of none. Could be liable for an own goal here and there.
Played either centre back or right back and known for my accurate passing but woeful lack of pace. So a cross between Fabian Schar and Kieron Trippier.
I was a striker. I had pace. I had a trial at Everton when I was 16. I didn’t get in. So I am going to say Francis Jeffers.
