Not saying it won't happen, but I would guess it's the most unlikely combination events. The following results would all need to happen: Bristol City v Preston - draw Burnley v Millwall - home win or draw Coventry v Boro - draw Derby v Stoke - draw Portsmouth v Hull - away win Sheff Utd v Blackburn - away win West Brom v Luton - away win You'll get about 1000/1. Might be worth a quid or two! The results to give a Bristol City and Preston combo is 4/1. Certainly an entertaining final day though. Couldn't give a **** about most of them. I hope Derby stay up and I'll find it funny if both Coventry and Boro miss out, but I'm not concerned about either
I’ve a feeling we beat Bristol in the semis, and meet Coventry at Wembley. Bout time we shafted them!!! Bart
Really looking forward to this, not sure whether to miss the match or not and see the scores come in, see how I feel on the day. I’ll go Leeds to win the title Coventry 5th, Bristol city 6th Luton to go down would prefer: Burnley win title Millwall or Blackburn 5th Bristol city 6th Stoke to go down
Queens Park Rangers have put manager Marti Cifuentes on gardening leave just days before their final Championship match of the season. Assistant coaches Kevin Betsy and Xavi Calm will take charge of the first-team on an interim basis as they prepare for Saturday's away match at Sunderland (12:30 BST).
Be canny that. Along with a decider of pitch and toss if needed. In fact, balls to the play offs, lets just go pitch and toss on Sunday at Roker and sod it.
Its mental that Preston could get relegated and Coventry get promoted, but Coventry have lost more games than Preston
Is it wrong that I’m considering not going at the weekend in order to watch all the drama unfold? is that bad of me? It’s a bit of a push with golf early doors but it’s doable. idk
https://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/25124952.happened-sunderland-dressing-room-oxford-loss/ The article has comments from Dan Neil in it, which have already been on here. I hadn't seen the RLB ones before though: .... Sunderland have the chance to go into the play-offs on the back of a positive result when they host QPR on Saturday in the final game of the season. Le Bris will name a full strength side, which is likely to mean Enzo Le Fee again starting on the left side of the attack. Although Le Bris thinks Le Fee is at his best in a central role, the Roma loanee played and impressed on the left after his January arrival when Romaine Mundle and Tommy Watson were out injured. Watson is now fit but the winger, who is leaving for Brighton in the summer, has underwhelmed in recent weeks, while Mundle is currently sidelined again. Mundle is expected to be back for the play-offs but it's not clear whether he'll be deemed fit enough to start in the first leg. If he isn't, Le Fee is likely to get the nod in that role over Watson. "It might be his position for the play-offs but it could another one, we will have to see," said Le Bris. "Because of the players available now in different positions, probably now this option could be a good one and especially away because we know that it could be a very tight game and we will have to be balanced in and out of possession. It could be an option but we'll see, it is not decided yet."
Dunno mate, I’m changing my mind every half an hour. It’s either a 6.30am alarm, three trains and home in the evening … … or a long lie in. a walk along the beach to the offy and an afternoon laughing at Boro, Coventry and Luton. I’ll get at least one more chance to show my support, think I’ll wait for a sign
Might've already been posted but if Preston go down by 1 point or goal difference it will be funny considering they probably would've won the game up here without their antics.
