Yes but the key word here is "rumours". And even if SR would be open to selling a suitable buyer still has to be found and willing to match the asking price.

Yeah if we're really unlucky we can end up with totally amateur absent foreign owners who only see our club as a means to make money. Even worse we can get ones who haven't the first clue about running a PL team but decide **** it, they'll buy clubs in France and Turkey too. That'd be horrendous. Hope we don't get one of those
 
Well I didn’t see that coming (if it’s true). Or maybe Solak just wants another investor who will put money in. Not sure why you’d bother with the multi club model etc if you weren’t in it for the long term.
When I saw it, I did wonder if it it was more 'we're open to another investor'

Interesting. Wasn't Solak talked into this by Ankersen and Kraft? He's now removed both of them from the running of the club so presumably he doesn't think they know what they're doing. It's not impossible he's had enough.
