A point (or more) would be great but realistically not required so long as we win our home games. Win our home games and we'd be 8 points above Chelsea (with them having 3 games) and 11 points above Villa (with them having 4 games). Forest would also have to get 9 points from their games and they play Chelsea. Basically, win the 2 home games and it would require an incredibly bad run of results from other teams for us not to get top 5. A single point away to Brighton and - given our respective goal differences - we can forget about Villa.
At least we have a small amount of depth now (not much). Seeing Gordon, Botman, Miley on the bench and with Joelinton not being involved we've probably got 16-17 reliable first team players. The drop to Krafth, Longstaff, Wilson, etc is pretty noticeable though. 3-4 new faces to replace the likes of them on the bench (or ideally push Schar, Murphy, etc onto the bench) and we'll at least give us a little bit of insulation for injuries and rotation options for Europe.
