I remember having a discussion with a bloke I work with who’s a Stoke fan a few years ago when they signed loads of players after their embargo and loaned quite a few more. Might’ve even been when Neil left us I can’t remember if it was last season or season before, anyway he was adamant they’d be challenging for promotion. They’ve been absolutely dreadful both seasons.
