The 22 year old at strasbourg has Mitchell written all over it.. But all are probably bullshit.

Unfortunately we have to accept we're still 7th or 8th in the pecking order in this country. Cunha choosing Man United is yet another reminder and the fact they just plucked our SD because they wanted to.

Players look at the big 6 knowing they'll never end up the next Everton, but will suspect Newcastle are going to get PSR'D somewhere down the line.

 

Plus point is 7th or 8th is a lot higher than 5 years ago so things are looking brighter

Delap rumours gathering pace. Very much a Howe type of player and would be a huge upgrade on Wilson. Cunha to Man U is sounding done.

 

Suspect he'll go to Man Utd, because he's going to be their main man and at a more prestigious club. Whether we like it or not Man Uniteds fall from grace will only ever be temporary because the rules almost guarantee it. The rules also suggest that Newcastle will have great difficulty breaching the gap in revenues, and it could be argued that our rise will result in a significant downturn in fortunes at some point.

 

I think Delap is the right type of player for them. But for that reason they won't get him,

 

Trafford, Huijsen, Cunha and Delap are the players we are after this summer.

 

Aren't two of them close to signing for other clubs?

 

I reckon we'd be going for Dibling ahead of Cunha. Most people think Cunha to Man U is done.

These players fit the bill - happy to bide time and learn before stepping in. I'd look at Van Der Ven as an alternative to Huijsen but I think if we had four players of that calibre, we can challenge at the top.

 

Dibling depends on the price.

 

Trafford maybe, but the others it's not sounding likely unfortunately.
