The Sun (yeah I know) reporting that Marti might be on the verge of quitting following a breakdown in relationship with Nourry. Wouldn't normally pay it much heed but it's Ian Mcullough formerly of WLS so could be something in it.

Depends on his personal ambitions. As a club we are pretty much stagnating, no real signs of that about to change as we have little to nothing to invest in the playing squad.
The injury situation is really pissing everyone off and having a key figure working from Dubai is ridiculous. I sense all is not rosy behind the scenes...

I think the 'sun' has watched the same interview as most of us did, added in some of their own words, jumbled it up and come up with something totally different to what was actually said.
He was apparently on Southampton's shortlist, but would he swap one Championship club for another, albeit one that's gonna have alot more money than us to spend ?
How much would he earn at Southampton compared to us
And which club would give him the best chance of premiership football

One of 3 things has happened then
1. Ian Mac has had off record conversation with Marti...and he has put it into a interview based on the video
2. Ian Mac is not as close to QPR as he was and isn't getting the stories he did and will now just go for semi random ****.
3. There are so many vacancies around...some one has asked Ian Mac to help gauge if Marti would be " poached"...
Having said all this...noone in the club or associated with the club or us the fans are happy with the injury situation....and the head of department being based in Dubai.
That needs to be sorted out for next season whatever
If we are lucky this will proceed with Cifuentes being firmly linked with one of the bigger championship clubs, him totally committing himself to the Rs and saying how much he loves us and how much he owes to us, then a week later, resigning to go to his ‘dream’ job managing an unpronounceable team in Scandinavia or Turkey.

It certainly is. 2-3 years at most and then the Board decides it's time for a change in the man at the helm. Each time the money available reduces and we end up worse off. There's a lesson to be learned from that. Time for a change in the ownership. Anyone know someone with a few million to spare who doesn't mind losing it or who is gullible enough to believe it won't happen to them.

As with the last few seasons, the relegated teams from the Prem have the money to almost guarantee going straight back up. Its why the parachute payments need to be abolished and something less weighted in favour of those clubs put in place !
Saints have been linked more strongly with Danny Rohl, with their parachute money they'll be able to cherry pick a manager and the best Championship players they want. Marti wouldn't really be on that level from what we've seen this season...
I thought McCulloch wrote for the Sun and other nationals now rather than WLS. I could be wrong mind. Either way it sounds like poor journalism.
I can see this topic getting out of hand, as yet all we are going on is as Bob says poor journalism, see if Marti comes out with anything with his pre match chat, now click bait sites nominating managers to replace him, let’s just wait & see
