You couldn't beat Ponders End and Edmonton from the 90s to the mid 00s. The pubs and student bars were a constant hive of activity. Great Ruby houses too.

If I was flush, I'd cab it up to the Fox Comedy Club in Palmers Green for a show, then finish up rocking at the Anglers, Wood Green, or the Standard on Blackhorse Road.

I'd need an abacus to work out how many drinkers have shut in that area. Very sad indeed, but many great memories.

 

I used to live opposite the Eaglet on the corner of Hornsey & Seven Sisters road , classic Paddy pub & still going strong , the boozer down the road The Enkel arms is a bit tasty.
Another Mick old school establishment where the Racing channel plays all day .
