If we go up we all agree we need a fair few top quality players to be able to compete. Spare a thought for those of our players who, if we get promoted, will lose their place in the first team or even the squad. How do they feel about giving everything to get promoted and then not getting a game if we do get promoted. Onion will always give his all but I wonder how players like Hjelde, Seelt, Patterson and others feel if they are playing themselves out of the squad. I suppose having promotion to the Premier League on your CV is something but will it be enough. My opinion is they will all go flat out to get promoted but the outcome of their efforts might not be what they wanted.
