God I hope not. Total respect for the man but a spent force now and not the person to start the revolution.
Precisely. I fear Mr Mowbray would be far too grateful to Tan and would just go along with everything.
Norwich City have sacked head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup and placed ex-Arsenal and England midfielder Jack Wilshere in charge for their two remaining games of the season. And so the merry go round continues!
And gathering pace. Jack Wheelchair in for 2 games. Rambo will have 100% more management experience by the time we play them.
Me too.... Maybe his memorable loan stint with us will tug on the heart strings?? Or Steve Cooper - we all know he's a Bluebird at heart, just like his old man... I even wouldn't be averse to Rob Edwards either.
Rosenior strikes a chord. Very harshly treated at Hull last year. Dyche would bring some grit and steel to the side but Div 1 too low for him. Apart from those two and the others mentioned - not sure about Plug though - not much else to attract on the list. And who would Tan accept?
Rosenior for me too. Too honest for that Hull owner who wanted to manage the team himself and expected Rosenior to toe his line. He was the real brains behind Derby as assistant to Rooney and when Rooney left, he proved it. I'd take him over any of those other mentioned, though O'Neill comes a close second for me.
100% agree with that but whether it's him or someone else, change is still critical in the personnel and attitudes of those above him In order to give him a chance of success.
One of the criticisms of Riza was his lack of managerial experience. The same could be said of Rambo although he has significantly more playing experience at a high level. If he somehow performs a miracle and keeps us up he would have a very good shout if we drop then I can't see him continuing as manager/first team coach whatever the title is. I just read Football League World extolling the qualifications of 4 experienced managers who could do the job - Buckingham, Nathan Jones, Wagner, Noel Hunt and, to a lesser degree of experience, Barry-Murphy. In the main all positive candidates at Championship/Div 1 level and it would do no harm to have Rambo as assistant to give him a ranking for the future.
