that's a pity, he was making a big difference to them in the short time he was back... at this point fo the year any ligament injury = 6 months = out for the season. One has to think they have to get jones i nthe back line not midfield to remove evans so they need to buy a midifielder in january.
Rio and Evans have lost form between and I don't think either have sadly much of a future left at OT (could be wrong). Jones and Smalling would be my first choice CB's for the rest of the season though SAF will wish to rest Jones at various times. Vidic was signed in Jan if I recall correctly and I would not be shocked if someone is signed for that position.
Perhaps you can sign O'Shea or Brown from Sunderland now that they have a new manager looking to clear their dead wood?
hmmm... just depends on who's available and thats why scouts are paid and us on the sidelines are not... we'll see who they come up with
big blow for Utd - like Lucas for us they couldn't have picked a worse player to lose. Never like to see serious injury to any player - I wish the lad well
Losing aplayer like Vidic is a blow to most if not any team. There will be an inpact. Though if they sign a decent DM\CM in Jan it may go some way to alleviating pressure on the defence. They will be there or there abouts come the end, I'd say 2nd, spurs 4th City 1st and Liverpool 3rd
To quote Lucretius; - Pleasant it is, when storms are lashing the seas, to watch from shore, the struggles of another...
It's very quiet on here today StJohn. I'm about to go out on location in a min so will probably be completely dead by then.
I agree but playin both Jones n Smalling at CB leaves you weak at RB as the twins dont seem to be doing it at the mo.Could Fergie go for a right back in Jan
Even though he is a ManU player don't like to see any player a get serious injury I wish him all the best in his recovery
