Not many "Englishmen" celebrate St Georges day! It should be a national holiday. But there again, probably not many Englishmen left in England!
That’s why I try and put something on a forum. Sadly more English people know when St Patrick’s Day is rather than their own saints day. In that respect we have to say well done to Guinness for marketing the day so well, along with all the newspapers.
Good grief. There's plenty to celebrate about being English but I don't think 'The thunder of Hastings' is one of them!
Sadly those that run the country, the liberal elite in London look upon those that celebrate St George as being second class citizens and have done for some time
It’s sad how bad things have become just to try and appease every minority out there. Our very own prime minister has needed the most intelligent and highest judges in the land to get together and explain to the country what a woman is. He didn’t know. I blame the universities for a lot of this nonsense. They should be places for learning not being groomed to think and behave using a far left ideology.
I reckon Kier Starmer along with all of the other elected officials knew exactly what a woman was. They have all been ideologically captured and were too scared to say what they thought. I genuinely think that someone has to be mentally unwell to believe that a man can become a woman and vice versa. Although this is a discussion for a separate thread I think!

Nor is being the children of empire builders or speaking the language that conquered continents ... ... that's exactly what started all these problems we're facing now. And who was it benefitted from all this, the same small group of wealthy people who benefit now. We're all expected to feel the shame of the slave trade when the working class were working 12 hour shifts in cotton mills for a pittance. It's this elitist jingoism that's been used to hoodwink us all for centuries in my opinion.
