My mate reckons the reason why Salah and VVD have signed contracts is because they have already got an agreement in place to sign Isak. Apparently Trent is also considering staying as a result.
Maybe. He comes across professional enough to get on with his game. I just think he has no competition for his place, we were playing **** from the get go and he can't be a superstar every game?
Report the Daily Mail. He's a player with a history of having temper tantrums in matches, so doesn't sound like he'd be Howe's cup of tea anyway.
Romano now too..top player regardless and wish he wasn't going there. It's amazing that they can spend 65 million in such debt and supposedly in PSR trouble. He's not a Howe player though with his apparent attitude.
I agree he's got a lot of ability, but is as far away from what Man U need as you could wish for. They desperately need some grounded, reliable, experienced leaders to steady things for the next year. I'm hearing their entire budget is being thrown at Cunha and Osimhen, two players with loads of ability but huge question marks over character - sound familiar? Never going to be a Howe player either. There's been a fair few comments about bench options and I do think we need more than just someone who can come on for Gordon, or Isak, doing the same things. I actually think we have a far more pressing need at the back now, our lack of pace is going to be even more exposed next year and the GK is a liability at times. Dream window for me would be Trafford, Hujisen/Van Der Ven, Kulusevski, David, Dibling.
The likes of Cantona were said to have a bad attitude, but more often than not, he did it on the pitch. I'm not saying a petty tweet is a wise move, but it doesn't mean he doesn't train well, can't get on with anyone, and it certainly doesn't confirm that he's this awful guy no club should want. People that know him will know him and I'm sure people have done some digging, rather than feeding off whatever the media or twitter has decided.
Arsenal, Newcastle and Nottingham Forest have all registered an interest in Cunha. (Talksport) Newcastle are interested in Strasbourg's 22-year-old Dutch forward Emanuel Emegha. (L'Equipe - in French, subscription required) Manchester United are plotting moves for Newcastle's Bruno Guimaraes, 27, and Crystal Palace's Adam Wharton, 21, to bolster their midfield.
