Southampton sack Juric, looking to bring in Rohl from Sheffield Wednesday Can imagine him doing well at a better run club with a few bob
Gary Neville was quite outspoken at the weekend about the 'robotic' nature of modern football, with teams being obsessed by 'shape'. I've thought this for a long time and I think Guardiola is a large part of the problem. Even when his City side was winning every week, I mostly found them boring to watch. Perhaps it's a Spanish thing.
Yeah, saw that as well.... think he described it as micromanaged which sums it up.... for some time now top flight football has been like watching a computer game..... boring as hell.......
A warning for those who think building up Loftus Road capacity may be a better bet than a new stadium. I live just off Holmesdale Road a couple of hundred yards from the Palace Stadium. We received notification of the Palace stadium plans in the planning phase back in 2016, it all looked like a done deal with planning approved the following year but 8 years on very little has happened and the costs are now looking to be more than double the original estimate. Boardroom problems haven't helped them and there's nothing planned for starting anytime soon. As for a new stadium for us, I think that ship has long since sailed and I can't imagine H&F would ever approve any stadium upgrade in my lifetime. We just have to be thankful we have owners willing to spaff £20 million a year keeping us afloat with little prospect of any return. As they say 'be careful what you wish for'... https://www.mylondon.news/news/sout...owing-frustrated-31464051#amp-readmore-target
Preston bizarrely slipped into the scrap from being miles off it not long ago. Plymouth at home who need to win twice and Bristol City away.
Seems there's only one team in the Championship these days according to all the media, apparently they're MASSIVE
