My wife's dad is a Brentford fan and says Mbuemo only has a year left on his contract so they'll probably cash in on him this summer. Big player to replace.

He also says they've had a bucket load of injuries this season and should really be higher up the league. I haven't paid enough attention to know how true that is.

Leeds and Burnley will both need to sack their managers if they want to stand a chance of staying up.

    Dyche back to Burnley maybe?

Annoyingly looks like Wrexham will probably get that second auto spot. The fanfare is going to be so OTT, and from our point of view, Wrexham are much more likely to be a challenge next season and throw money at it.

Wycombe coming off a thrashing at home to Charlton yesterday, are away to 6th place Orient (who are still fighting to hold on to that last play off place), and home to 5th place Stockport in their last two games. Whereas Wrexham who now have a 2 point advantage, are home to 4th place Charlton and away to 11th place Lincoln.

Wrexham be a great ground to tick off though. Saying that so would Wycombe.

I just hope Reading don't get into play offs as I've not been to any of the teams in 2nd - 6th so not really bothered which comes up if stays as it is.

I want Wrexham to go up. Firstly a new ground and secondly they'll bring a small army down to St Mary's.

Be extremely hard to get tickets for it though I'd guess with the allocation likely to be tiny.

Norwich have sacked their manager. Can see Martin going there for sure.

Jack Wilshere interim manager at Norwich.
Aaron Ramsey interim manager at Cardiff.
    Tom Cleverley manager at Watford.

****, I feel old suddenly, I remember when they were all promising 16 year olds ...

As much as they might love the man, Norwich fans would likely hate Russball. Johannes also likes to dominate possession with the ball being slowly recycled around the back to work an opening. Norwich fans get quite impatient watching it.

Weren’t we all? No? Just me then. I always promised to do my homework, tidy my room and work hard at school. A low bar but I never reached it.

I went to watch them play about a month ago and they gave two goals away playing around at the back and their fans were doing all the ironic cheers when they went long, so I can’t see them being desperate for Martins style of play.

They looked decent going forward though

I have seen a lot of them this season (locality helps) and when Norwich play quick, one touch passing through the lines, they have been brilliant. But they default to recycling ti around the back, putting themselves under pressure and then desperately pumping it up for Sargent to not win the header. They'd be out for Martin's blood within weeks.

This weekend is all about the National League South - there’s six teams that can win the title going into this weekend’s final games!

Truro are home to St Albans, which on any other day would be a guaranteed 3 points. Essentially if they win by no less than 2 goals less than Torquay beat Hemel Hempstead by, the title, and automatic promotion, is theirs.

If Truro and Torquay both win, Worthing could pip Eastbourne to the 3rd place spot, which gives them (and whoever finishes second) a bye to a one legged home semifinal.

4th to 7th have an elimination round to determine who travels to 2nd and 3rd for the semifinals.

Simple, really. The Scottish Premiership has nothing on the National Leagues!

Yes, easy peasy lemon squeezy, as is this for the Dutch first and second tier playoffs. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eerste_Divisie
At the end of each season, the champion and the runner-up of the Eerste Divisie are automatically promoted to the Eredivisie replacing the bottom two from the top flight. Six other clubs enter the Nacompetitie a promotion/relegation playoff that includes the 16th-placed club in the Eredivisie.
The following teams qualify for the Nacompetitie:
    • The club with the best record in the "first period" of the season (after 8 rounds).
    • The club with the best record in the "second period" of the season (rounds 9–16).
    • The club with the best record in the "third period" of the season (rounds 17–24).
    • The club with the best record in the "fourth period" of the season (rounds 25–32).
    • The two remaining spots are filled at the season's end by the highest-placed clubs that have not already earned automatic promotion or qualified for the Nacompetitie.
If the club that wins a period has qualified for the Nacompetitie by winning a previous period, its place is filled by the next-best club in that period that has not already qualified. Usually, the clubs that qualify for the Nacompetitie turn out to be the 3rd- through 9th-placed clubs in the final table. Clubs in the Nacompetitie face each other in a knock-out system with the number 16 of the Eredivisie for one place in next season's Eredivisie."
    Got it?
