    That's pathetic enough ...

... thinking other people would be interested is slightly deranged.

I don't even believe all these stories about 'I left at half time and met up with all my mates who were drinking in town, it was great'.

For all there was lots of talk about our lack of strikers in the Mowbray playoffs, it was probably worse that Mowbray inexplicably preferred playing Gooch as a centre half rather than just using Anderson. He’s an emergency squad player but he isn’t terrible.

I’m also pretty sure we had to enter it as a third tier club. Oh, and we won it. Our third division squad won the third division cup! We were in the equivalent one back in 87/88 and I wanted to win it then! Freight rover trophy!

More than 63k posts on here and I’m being told I’m swamping the board <laugh>

God only knows how many RTG accounts you’ve had, and still have…

If Mundle and Cirkin are going to be effective in the playoffs they need a couple of run outs before the playoffs.
Oxford and QPR are the only games unless they can appear with the U21’s or summat.

Cirkin took a while getting back to his best after his last injury and Mundle will need some playing time to get up to speed.

So then, will we see these 2 play in the 2 remaining games?
If not they cannot be relied on in the playoffs because they will not be up to speed.

We shouldn’t be putting them in our ’best’ 11 which may look good but they may be passengers. I think we will have to play Hjelde and Isidor LB and LW.

    Hope I’m wrong.

I probably am but to me his strength and power is very good for his age and build. Simply offers more than Isidor right now for me

I'd like any of our players to do well, but I can't help think that performance was a bit of a flash in the pan. He was out on loan to Shrewsbury the first half of the season, and didn't pull up any trees there, and when I've seen him in youth matches back here I've always thought Zak Johnson played better than him.

Like I say, I'd want any player to do well, but can't help thinking he'll be one to go in the summer, but what level he ends up at, I'm not sure.

Was well impressed with his fight and effort when he came on. Though I thought he was gonna hit that lad he had a little scuffle with

Cirkin was supposed to be back for today according to RLB so I’m imagining he will be there on Saturday. I think Mundle will scrape playoffs and be on the bench

I’d be looking at two teams. An away one and a home one. Away one should be more solid, hardworking and compact. Home one can be more expansive. Wouldn’t surprise me at all to see ELF playing wide left in there. It’s probably what I’d do tbh. Isidor gets one last home game to see if he can find a spark.

Here is my view. I thought Anderson did ok
I hope the next 2 games are used as a run at the semi of the play offs. Play the away game at Oxford as if its the first leg of the play offs. Play against QPR as if we are one down after the first leg

If we are treating these games with contempt, and playing weak players, result not important, why does it matter what I do ? I keep hearing on here that the game is a nothing game, means nothing, pre season. Not sure why people are surprised me and many others skipped it. Loads of emoty ST season yday.
