Is it right that every playoff team lost today …

… and conceded more goals than us.

Surprising as they desperately needed to win.

Millwall won I suppose but I don't see them going up.

If I know anything about Sunderland fans....when it comes to unconditional support, ALL fans will be 100% behind the team in the play offfs...we all bitch and moan during the season..but we are at the vinegar stroke end of the season..no doubt in my mind every fan will be behind RLB and the team

I’m still hoping Coventry v Boro goes down to the last kick.

Bristol lost their left back, after 20 minutes, and he's a good player …

… the more lumps they kick out of each other the better.

Mayenda for me. If Watson was a no show again today I would've had Wilson left but he put a bit of a shift in today and caused problems so deserves another go there. Wilson drops down to the bench

He's treated it like a preseason except with 40 thousand crowds paying 30 quid a ticket. Not saying it's all wrong mind. But need to play best team soon.

    Boro play Norwich next.
They have to get result to stay in touch. Lose that and I think that’s Coventry confirmed.

and carrick gone. Their fans are realllllllllly unhappy

    That's very true …

… I suspect that will all be forgotten if we go up though.

I couldn’t see the finer detail on the far box from the south stand but it was a hoof that led to an unchallenged touch in the no man’s land between Samed 09 and Mepham, then an easy lay off to the left sided player who had a lot of space to pick a pass. It was a bad goal from a whole team perspective.

Aye nice to meet you as well. I told him they’d probably beat us one nil with a **** goal. I only wish I’d put a few quid on it.

Has to be Mayenda. I love Isidor but Mayenda is a freak of nature at 19 imo. He seems to do it all. Hold up, drop deep, drive the ball forward, create his own chances, win headers from long balls and has some tidy finishing

Really like Mayenda and agree I would start him, but i do think you're sensationalizing his current ability.

Loved his little cameo today. Aggressive and took no ****. In my ideal world he is MOM and scores the winner at Wembley.

I loved the fight he showed and was even more delighted to see him not playing 60+ minutes today

I found today and the last few games extremely tepid and frustrating. I shouldn't be surprised at the ott reaction of some of the posters who can't help but be negative. Its absolutely natural for players to play within themselves knowing that bigger games are on the horizon. And it's understandable for the manager to shuffle his pack and rest players. This is effectively a pre play off season for us with the focus being on that first game. These games are largely irrelevant. As long as the players are ready for the play off semi. Which I'm sure they will be.

ELF is absolutely crucial to our chances in the playoffs.

    Just look at the impact he had when he first came in;
Vs Burnley, 0.29 xA including a sublime pass when Isidor hit the post
Vs Derby, 0.11 xA and setup the Isidor (wrongly) disallowed goal
    Vs Plymouth, 0.26 xA
Vs Boro, 0.58 xA and created the own goal
    Vs Luton, scored

Running at 0.19 xA per 90 which is the highest in the squad, majority of his minutes coming out of position also.

His defensive numbers are excellent also. 2.17 tackles won, 7.69 duels won, 1.3 interceptions, 4.55 recoveries (all per90).
