The difference is mad for me. That's why my son is a bit bored to go now.

I just said sack it today because I seen team and knew we would get beat, so waste of time. I do that for the under 21s. Not the first team.

Time for experimenting is over now it’s too late but wouldn’t have minded us trying a narrow 4-4-2 with the 2 of them up top just as something different. One way of fitting in the abundance of talent we have in CM. No wingers. Something like Neil deeper with Bellingham and Rigg then ELF at the head of the diamond.

He’s not the only one judging by the empties in regular ST seats. It’s been a chore for a while

I’ve just seen this OTR and it’s really concerning

    Blackburn - No goals
Bristol City - Mayenda wonder goal
    Swansea - No goals
    Norwich - No goals
West Brom - Direct free kick (keeper mess)
    Millwall - Set piece goal
    Coventry - no goals
    Preston - Mundle wonder goal

That’s what I meant about creativity and how it’s especially hindering isidors output.

were scoring worldies or the odd set piece for weeks it’s very poor

Concerning. That’s why people’s confidence for the play offs has shocked me. I’m just not seeing it

    Well
in 82 posts you've slagged off
    RLB - for resting players
Watson - for being in the team
Anderson - before he even kicked a ball
    Aleksic
    Isidor

and even had a swipe at
    Dodds
    Mowbray

Not to mention your never ending love for Leeds, Burnley and even Coventry players

You are a very strange Sunderland 'supporter' in my eyes.

Severe lack of creativity. Last time we created more than 2.0 open play xG was Boro away.

We need Roberts ti start contributing. Its important to have goal scoring wingers and we only have 1 in Mundle at the moment. If Isidor ar Mayenda dont score then were fecked. Jobe also needs to start contributing more aswell because he certainly knows how to miss a sitter. Any successful team always has a 20 a goal season winger and we dont have that

Weird one for me. I defo think confidence is key but Bristol C are the in-form team and I think we beat those over two legs like. Coventry aren’t in great form but they’re an absolute bogey team for us.

The four playoff teams have won 3 of the last 12 games between them …

… the other three are desperate for points whereas we’re playing reserves.

Am I the only one? No. I haven’t just picked random points to have a go, they’ve all had reasoning

I’d class myself as a decent supporter, not bad but not great. I know I’ll be supporting the team at the play offs, don’t need to worry about that :emoticon-0148-yes:

Surely we play our best possible 11 for the last 2 games. As has been said form is not something you can just turn on for the playoffs.

We really need to go into the playoffs in form and we're running out of time.

That's why I think if we hit the playoffs in form we will piss them.

Blackburn won the lottery there mind. They did **** all. We can’t score at home though at the moment. Ultimately we’ve taken the judgement that our biggest risk going into ten play offs is tired legs and injuries. We were ok today but the quality of subs would have improved us by half if they’d started. Shame for us at the game but if we win the play offs today will be irrelevant.
Positives - Hume’s suspension was a blessing because Browne isn’t the best at RB, Jobe improved us, Jones did better than last time (first half), Anderson did better than hoped and gave the first team a rest (would like to see the goal again mind was he slow off the mark?), Watson showed he cared, no bad injuries, @marcusblackcat, tonight, is Bon Jovi.
Negatives- Isidor needs some confidence, final ball and pace of play too slow. Need to up the pace next two.
I’m on a 50th for QPR so that’s me done here till the play offs.

I hope so, just too see ELF on the pitch with whichever striker we go with to try and get some kind of chemistry kicking between them. Timing of balls, knowing when to run etc. I think it’s something we’ve lacked all season in midfield, Isidor always plays off the shoulder and far too many times the midfielders haven’t got their head up and seen his run.
