<peacedove>On Sunday we are home to Tottenham, three points is going to be 20th titles, only two in the present premier league. If we beat Tottenham, I am not sure if they will give us a guide of honour, but certainly Chelsea and Arsenal are going to. Tottenham's record at Anfield is terrible.Harry Redknapp was the last manager that took all the three points at Anfield in May 2011.Thanks to goal from Rafael van der Vaart and Luka Modric.
Liverpool icon Kenny Dalglish was the manager then. We must get 3 points out of possible 15 points before the end of the season to win the title .We can become unassailable after Sunday game.We have to fire on all cylinders on Sunday and beat Tottenham.

Spurs would be stupid crazy (and age is stupid) to put everything into this gsme cos it's on tv and their most hated rival is accusing them of letting us win.

Spurs v forest tonight at 8pm
Lfc v spurs Sunday 4:30pm
Spurs v glimt europa league semi final Thursday 8pm.

They have 3 games to put themselves back on track ahead of a huge summer for them.

Lfc at anfiepd.isnt one of them, but i expect them to go all out tto not look bad and blow their chances. A classic spurs thing to do.

Szoboszlai can sit down next. He was poor yesterday.
Jota did nothing yesterday but miss two huge headed chances so sit down.

Arsenal play palace reserves at home wednesday before palace have a huge semi final on the weekend. Could be 5 or 6.

We just have to win this game.
 
Ange Postecoglou is unlikely to be sacked regardless of the result at Anfield on Sunday. I strongly believe he is not going be there next season.

You want those last day of the season feelings where the side rips spurs apart in 25mins and there is no **** villa to throw in a city goal and ruin it.

I ****ing hope so.

We have had to support though thick and thin but I have never been as bored by grinding wins ever. Even Rafa wasn't this dull for this long. Even when klopp had woeful month or 6 weeks you could see the struggle but this slow play and grading has been going on since at least the city game if not longer.

Unleash the legs, what are thry being saved for any more.
 
Spurs playing bit of a mix line up, Solanke bissouma and maddison on bench.

Youd think with Europa semi on the Thursday after our game that would take president but doubt will be total make shift team. Will want to keep players in some sort of form and fitness.

Saying that, getting done by Forest atm. 1-0 already and nearly 2-0 but for offside goal

This one is a few days too far away to really rest in but if the go all in against us I hope they are embaressed in europe

We beat them 4-0 at home in the Carabao semi when they actually had something to play for.
 
Spurs style suits us and their manager refuses to change that style.

My only concern would be our ability to deal with their press; we struggled with this more recently, particular the PSG games.

Yeah, and that was then.

If we play like we mean it is what I've been waiting for since before psg game.

We seem tight. We sometimes pin in sides but seem to like to let everyone get set in doing so. Leicester could get good shape most of the time while we left the ball to our two cbs to be playmakers.

Those rare overlaps were all to rare but we got in behind a few times playing quicker and opened them but seemed to not want to risk a turn over at all.

Once we scored we started defending our half again, just surrendering the ball.

I just don't know what state mentally we are in to be just doing enough when youmcpuld be just cutting them all up.

But hey, maybe win one and that's that for the nerves.

I did think after 2 gsme a week for 3 weeks we would see a bit more
