I agree with the long throws especially as we can't even throw it that far. I'd like us to set up for a long throw then someone come short lay it back to the thrower to then cross it in for all the bodies in the box
I hope we all get noisy in the stadium instead of sitting your hands waiting for PNE to score first Roar them Tigers on !!!!!! Bunch of snooker fans near me - I wake em up !
Agree the atmosphere after the equaliser v coventry was great and loud needs to be like that at the start of the match, not waiting and waiting till the final 10 minutes
Sorry to be another miserable voice but this is another thing to add to my list of frustrations that occur every week at home; a wet surface where our players are constantly slipping at key moments and the greasy ball seems impossible for us to trap when we pass it at speed.
Treat this game like a final. More men in the box, more crosses, forward passes. Don't wait to go a goal behind, pretend you're losing at the start and go for it. I've always supported the manager but when I hear talk like this on such a crucial day I'm beginning to have my doubts..."Well, we are not going to make something magical in that time, it's not going to change a lot," Selles said when asked what he can do to try and find a spark in the final third.' If he can't sort something like this out it's time for yet another change later I'm afraid.
To think people used to moan about that team! Would love us to have a David Meyler and Matty Fryatt now
Few more additions; 5. Rest of ‘em as well as Gelhardt to turn up & show some fight (we’re all match ready, need them to be also.) 6. No piss balling about at the back. Re. Item 3, make that any throw ins, were useless at ‘em all. Come on you ‘Ull, let’s be having 3 points today to calm the pressure. UTT.
I've just read what Heckingbottom said after their loss to QPR. It's going to be a battle if our lot are up for one. Otherwise we lose.
This is huge thing for me. If we score early everything gets a lift. The crowd will be more positive and loud. But we never do this. We often start well but we never score and people get frustrated. It would make such a difference if for once we could just make it easier for ourselves by going ahead in the first half.
Probably the same people that didn't want us in the uefa cup because it might effect us staying in the Premier League .
