Admittedly, I am a bit drunk, but surely he is describing the "words", so it should be "monosyllabic"? Are you harryhood in drag?

I need to sleep, but I will wait up for another 10 minutes to hear your answer and if I am wrong, then so be it, but I really can't see where you are coming from in this. I am not even joking here, but as I said, I am drunk.(but I still reckon I know more about the English language than you!)

Gambol said "I do admire your clinical grasp of monosyllable words but ...................

As in words of one syllable. So where was he wrong?

Ok, I see what you are saying, but you can't say that my version was wrong though, because monosyllabic is correct also. Also, I can't even be bothered to go back and see what gambol said, but I think you'll find that my way is the more pure way, because I'm a Prod!

I am going to get Edge to look into this. I shall report back tomorrow, but I would be very surprised if I am wrong.

I'm not sure what the above really means, but I can tell you know about good England like what I does.

    "monosyllabic is correct "

No it's not.Not in the context that Gambol used it.

Yes, it is. Lets finish this off tomorrow, at least there will be something to talk about, admittedly not very exciting, but something none the less. Anyway, how do you know what context Gambol was using it in, it was typed! More to the point, he will be in great order that we are even still speaking about it.

    P.S. I am correct.
