my dad's cousin said that he will just go down to wembley with his 2 boys and just be there, ticket or no ticket, we might do the same
If you're there, without a ticket, there's always a chance you'll find one. If we were playing Bristol City or Millwall there'll be some being offered around ... ... and there's always the chance of Sunderland people not making it on the day. And there's always Wycombe, on the Sunday, if they're there
Sadly no. It's all in my username. The syd bit is Sydney in the land of Oz. I haven't been to a game since the 1960s, probably a couple in the 70's. Charlie Hurley was my hero as a young bairn.
Unfortunately I will be on a plane flying home when we get promoted. However the 40000 of you glorious fellow fans have the best day and sing ya hearts out.
Never mind mate, you can still enjoy it all ... most people on here are happy and positive. I was given a Charlie Hurley rosette, when I was a bairn, by an uncle ... ... 'You're Sunderland now son, and don't let me down or there'll be trouble'
If you're in Sydney, are you in this picture? Just found the facebook page. I'm heading over that way in January so could meet up for a schooner or 2 please log in to view this image
You seem to be a little lost, or do you just feel compelled to post the same negative drivel on every thread of the forum. "This thread is for me and anyone else who’s excited and optimistic about the playoffs. I might be the only one, so be it." "This thread can be just be for any daft optimists."
well my pre-season thoughts went west anyway (slow start-kick on second half of the season) so WTF...i always did and still do think we have a chance, people slagging RLB off but at the minute there is nothing to lose position wise and some lads are getting valuable minutes. i can see us going all out for three first halfs each followed by a nervous as feck second half holding onto a lead and i dont care who we meet, leeds are the only team to have given us a battle, we can and will beat anyone.
Turns out our boy is on a promotion course when the POF is on so he won’t be able to get the time off. Mrs K and me won’t fly across without him so we’ll be down the casino watching it on the big screen.
Whatever we think of them, the playoffs are a great spectacle and the final is more intense than most cup finals. We're in them and should make the most of the occasions ... ... it's time to get excited mate.
Hopefully this link works and you can find out where they gather https://www.facebook.com/Sydneysunderlandsupporters
Our branch here is linked with the Sydney branch, one of the lads hasn't long returned from 2 months out there visiting family
