Me and the family go to France on hols quite a bit and the French are much more relaxed on certain things - queues for the Ladies in motorway service stations can often lead to women coming into the Gents, which doesn't bother me one bit ... but you don't get blokes going into the Ladies and with 3 daughters, and the missus, I'd be pretty concerned if any did ... My girls are 32, 24 and 20 and way more modern thinking than me and their mum - but I suspect they would all be a little uncomfortable at the prospect of a trans woman in a ladies changing room - perhaps less so in the loos - but my missus would be dead against both ... and I think that's the real issue... Clearly, like almost everyone else, you never read the 88 page ruling by the Supreme Court (neither did I). The ruling was that, pursuant to the 2010 Equality Act, a woman is a biological entity of the female sex as defined by science. Cervix, no penis, etc. There was no reference to the use of gender pronouns so deviants can still refer to themselves as she/her and be mocked accordingly.
