Northampton have picked up under Kevin Nolan, having drawn 3 and won 1 of their last 6, so don't expect another 5-0. I expect the same team, maybe Jones on the bench. With Ahadme on the naughty step it would make sense to have Dixon on the bench instead.

Momentum is important, a good performance. And no needless injuries.
    The result? Irrelevant now.
It'll be interesting to see if NJ can keep the players motivated.

These last four games are more or less dead rubbers now.
They might matter more to the opposition.

I'm in the upper west, block Q. There are many Germans in attendance. A fair crowd today and good support for the Cobblers.

We need to move the ball quicker, especially to Small, who looks to be our most dangerous player.

A scratchy win, but they all count. The Cobblers were happy to waste time until they went behind. We were far from great and will need to improve. Still, I'm happy to see a win.

    Squeaky bum time
Two quality goals got the points for us. I thought we were spooked by that stupid penalty, and just played safety first after that. Good crowd, not far off 20,000. The other teams are feelin the pressure too. We missed Macca, who'd have thought it.

I liked how Jones went potty when Small failed to chase down a loose pass. He was literally spitting feathers and jumping up and down on the spot. Great passion.
