I haven’t wanted him to feature from the very second the transfer was announced. Head and heart clearly not in it, he was weak before this. Even worse now

Fair play to the ref for spoiling the game today and making it all about him

I am so pissed off at that performance. Lazy SOAB. He has always wanted out and these level of performances just compound it all.

I’m not as confident as most if we met Bristol City in the play offs. They’re flying currently and have a very good home record. We snatched a point late on at the SoL earlier in the season. Think it would be ridiculously close

Well he's out now and he's up against it, if that's his mental attitude to games .I still think his self confidence and ego is 4 years ahead of his current ability..

Can't get over it mate. Poor performances are fine in isolation but work rate is an absolute minimum requirement. Think 0/10 is being generous.

Of course it would be close. All our games are tight. But if we want to be in the prem, then it’s as good as a draw as we could get. If we can’t get past them, then it shows we aren’t ready or close to being ready. I think we’d get past them personally, I didn’t see anything from them that makes me think we shouldnt get through.

They do for sure mate but at the end of the day, if you put all the ‘effort’ talk aside, the lads just not championship level at this moment in time, defo not at the top end at least. He won’t start in the play offs, I’m near certain.

I think it's a bit silly to get that upset about a player leaving. It happens to every player a every club, the only difference here is that it was announced (for some reason) mid-season. The fact of the matter is that he's just not really as good as he, or people at Brighton maybe think he is.

I wasn’t arsed if Watson stayed or went… players come and go all the time… but the fact he is going at the end of the season and Sunderland are paying his wages till then… and he puts on a performance like that is utterly disgusting… he should be ashamed of himself… I trust this kid will never wear our shirt ever again

I am a little bit miffed though. We have gave him everything. A pathway, the lot. We have no fit winger and he ponses about like that. It's just not acceptable and shows that his attitude was always an issue. Frankly, it confirms to me he is a bit of a rat.

Got no issue with the transfer, frankly the fee we got is ridiculous for an unproven lad. Today's performance was terrible though. RLB needs to give thought to whether playing him is doing anyone any favours.

His mentality is there for everyone to see, don’t get injured.

The move was in the bag before it was. The second he got injured he has become a different player with zero work ethic

He’s been very very badly advised by a certain (un licensed) agent.

Always had a bit of an iffy mindset/body language for the 21s tbf.

I think he has been told since returning to not over do it and just go through the motions, which funnily enough he’s not even doing.

Lots of lads getting badly advised. Mason Cotcher was another one - basically gave up a year of his fledgling career in a contract stand off.
