I know there is a lot of discussion about how we would cope in the premier league, but bristol.... that would be tough

Heading home, bit worse for wear. Camny day out all things said.

Few footy thoughts through my beer goggles. Was it ONien who got caught for the red? Poor to get wrong side. Looked like Hume grabbed the shoulder so the player goes down? Didnt think it warranted a red but looked a foul. Game plan in the bin cheers ref.

I though Neil was fantastic at CB. Mind you Mepham is some player to play alongside. Mayenda is brilliant imo. He is so strong and aggressive. He bullied their CBs at times and his goal was class. I just think he has progressed so fast, has to be our first choice CF. He isnt a wide man! Isidor was miles off when he came on, just doesnt give us a platform to play from, unlike Mayenda.

Thought we gifted them two goals. Was it Le Fee who passed it to their lad for the equaliser? Did he look? It looked poor from my spot. Le Fee didnt get the game he wanted, but minutes in the legs I suppose. I personally feel he owes us something in the coming play offs. Lot of faith put in in him from many, and as yet he has played in larts only. Imo anyway. Then the second was rubbish. Watson, then Samed, then Jobe all gave the ball away needlessly. Forgive Jobe as it looked to come at him quickly? Watson though nah, and Samed again did nothing for me.

Anyway, Hume gets a rest. Players on the recovery trail. Need Cirkin back quickly and Ballard I think. They won the headers today. Can we afford to give Neil a rest at some point? He doesnt look like he needs it, but maybe it will just freshen him up to go avain.

Off for aome more ale on tbis train.

Especially with the way we play. Isidor is a good player but in games when we have 35% possession you need someone who can hold the ball up and link play, that's Mayenda.

I can't get over Watsons performance today. Not sure he did a single positive thing. Really wish the Watson/Adingra deal went through now, we'd be much better off.

Don't know if you realised we started today with probably 6 of our starting 11 and only had 10 men for 85 minutes. Not blowing our own trumpet but I think we should be the one team you should fear

    Cirkin
    Mundle
    Jobe
    Le fee

    Back in the 11

we’ll be grand when there’s Something on the line

Bristol city fan here needs to wind his neck in, 4 points off us when 3 came from a early doors red that wasn’t a red, odd behaviour

gonna hit like crack when they get sent packing in 3 weeks

And they didn't really create too many clear cut chances in those 85 mins ..plenty of possession as you would expect and in effect we were down to 9 men as Watsons head is clearly not with us .He should not get another game in front of players who are committed to this club.

If we go down to 10 early on and lost 2-1 in the first leg I'd probably be happy with that. I'm pretty sure that if that happened we would make a sub instead of playing with players out of position just to get minutes in their legs.

Exactly I know he’s fishing for bites but there’s levels to this and it would be poor to lose to them over 2 legs

Can end up looking stupid which is fine but I’d be happy with Bristol city in the play offs. Ultimately if we can’t beat them over 2 legs we don’t deserve anything let alone a place in the top league. They’re a solid championship side for sure but if you want to be in the prem you should be beating teams like that. Time will tell though, I still think it will end up being Coventry who take 5th

Mate, we had 10 men for 90 minutes. Held our own imo and didn't have our strongest 11 on the field.

More than happy to play them in the play offs

This was the first time this season they’ve beaten one of the current top 6 - and they were against 10 men for over 80 minutes whilst still not creating a great deal. Nothing to fear whatsoever.

Haway mate. I get what you’ve posted the last few weeks. We’ve been poor, and there’s maybe a bigger problem with our general play for the second half of the season. Buts it’s not buzzing over a defeat, the lads in a game that mean nowt to our season, defended and grafted well with 10 men for effectively 90 minutes against the team who are 5th in the league. They deserve at least a bit credit today.

Yeah 100%. Don’t mean it in an arrogant way at all but they are a team, that if you want to be in the prem, you should be putting away in a play off semi final. Doesn’t mean it will happen of course, but if you want the biggest prizes you have to put these kind of teams away.

First half I thought it was just me being me because I’d already told myself he’s not arsed with his transfer arranged. Glad it was a mutual feeling amongst the majority if not all by the end of the match by the looks of it. Really let the club down and I think there’ll certainly be some who had no ill feeling toward his transfer who have a change of opinion after seeing today’s performance.
