He didn’t criticise him for his weight and clothes. He criticised him for being someone from Hull who supports a club from a different city. What emotional choice does someone have for supporting their local rugby club but a football club they have no connection with? Never seen a City fan going round with a Leeds Rhinos tattoo on their leg.

The OP said nasty songs half a century ago. Unless things have changed half a century is still 50 years not 45. You are the one losing your touch. Try reading previous posts, that is twice you have tried to make out I was wrong when it was you in the wrong because you came barging in without reading the whole thread.

You are making stuff up to suit your argument. I knew this fella. He was gobbing off outside the Hull City shop, and he does nothing for the local community. So don't be so naive, and give me some credit.

Why is it that RL players are crap at goalkicking? Seems to have been that way forever. Do they just not practice enough?

Anyway, FC are 10-4 down, having just missed a conversion a RU lad would have got with his eyes closed.

FC 14-16 down, 2 missed conversions could cost them the game.

Rovers missed one too and FC have had a man sent off.
Rovers discipline gone out the window, they need to get their act together.

Always wondered that. Always seems that when the put the ball on the stand it is higher off the pitch for league than union. Whether that has anything to do with I don’t know because years ago when they dug their heel in the ground to make a mound to put the ball on union players still kicked better.

The game was ruined by the red card but a great effort from both teams.

Hull FC did well to stay in the game for as long as they did, Rovers made hard work of it but got there in the end.

Mikey Lewis’ attitude will end costing him an England spot if he’s not careful, the Aussies will go to town on him.

    Was Mikey winding players up?
He usually tries it on in the Derbies but not so much other games.
I'll have to wait for the highlights now.
Well played FC, they made a game of it with a man down.

Must say the standard of refereeing in RL is far, far better then it is in football. But have they only got one ref because the bloke today with the Ronseal shirt seems to referee every game?
Decent second half too. Didn't catch if it was a sell out or, did anyone hear the commentators say it was, about a dozen times?

Can’t have been sell out unless they have reduced the capacity of the MLM to 21,000.
Over 24,000 at the Wigan v St Helens derby.
