Because I am sunderland central and the kids are getting dropped off at parents who live right next to mowbray park, I think me and the wife are national expressing it down. Literally quicker than metro to Newcastle then train down to Manchester.
Flix are a good option too, we went with them a couple of months ago, similar prices and journey time to NE but we found the coaches were better.
That’s us booked, 80 quid for 4 of us going there so probably 80 coming back. Double the bus price cos I’ve checked flix bus but prefer the train
I'll have to wait till Sunday to hit the 3 month mark and see the price. Even then I think we will book the national express as it's easier from Sunderland. Direct, no change. Every single train is a change from sunderland.
