Yeah well overall rating doesn't tell the full story sometimes mate. You can't really decide overall ratings at random, you need to set all the specific stats for the players attributes, and the game generates an overall rating. I didn't just decide all those ratings at random, those are the ratings are after all my edits
I mainly edit stats because most of our players on the game aren't like what they are in real life. On default, Saylor is **** in the air and gets shoved off the ball far too easily. Coloccini is really strong, class in the air, but slow as ****. Hatem Ben Arfa, according to Fifa, can beat players the air and score flying headers.... It just doesn't feel like Newcastle on default.
Can people please stop talking about Tash and editing stats? It happens every other page and the exact same conversation happens every time.
Does anyone else find playing the CPU on Career Mode quite frustrating at times. They just score ridiculous goals in which they dance through all of your defence (usually with really average players as well). I don't even attempt to tackle them in the box because you get some outragous penalties given against you. I'm not moaning because I'm ****e at it, it's just that I wish the CPU would score some realistic goals occasionally. Anyway, I'm in my second season with Dortmund. Calss team to use on career mode because their squad is really good but really young so will grow over time. Best players in my squad: Gotze, Hummels - 86 Gameiro - 85 Barrios, Kagawa - 84 Khedira, Bender, Wiedenfeller, Subotic - 82 Ansaldi, Gundogan - 81 My Virtual Pro, Lewandowski - 80
Totally agree with this, but now I'm using the Man Marking mode while playing on world class, they can't get a breath
It's just that I must have seen you say 'Collo is too strong, Saylor is too weak, Ben Arfa scores flying headers, it's just not like playing with Newcastle' about 10 times on this thread. Fat ****
Yeah it helps alot while playing CPU, I man marked Tevez and Silva by Taylor and Tiote, they barley touched the ball and I won 2-0 at their stadium on World Class . Man Marked Rooney, Young and Nani after the City game, got a 1-1 draw
I was talking about this on the last page mate, I'm getting a bit sick of world class difficulty. I rape the computer in terms of possession, but in the most vital areas of the pitch, the computer will do ridiculous things. Like for example - I was playing Wolves, I got into the comps box 4 times, and each time, the exact second I pressed B, the computer each time put in an amazingly accurate slide tackle to dispossess me, and we're talking about Wolves defenders here, putting in Pique quality tackles. I only managed to score 1 goal all game despite dominate the game, and the comp scored 2 25 yard shots, 1 free kick which shouldn't have been a free kick, and another, ****ing Karl Henry managed to dribble like Messi through my defenders, and seeing as the bloke is strong as ****, I couldn't shove him off the ball, so he got into my box and scored. I'm all for the computers presenting a challenge, but I'd like to see lack of class in the computers when playing the lower teams, as well as quality. The computers never make mistakes and all keep possession well, no matter which team you're up against.
I wouldn't say the CPU keeps the ball particuarly well, in fact they can be very sloppy at times (I play world class btw). Nor would I say they are anything special defensively. It's a challenge to break them down, but it's not that hard. It's just the fact they score such outragous goals with, most of the time, really average players. Referring to your example Tash, why the **** would Karl Henry even be running with the ball anyway? FIFA needs to give their players some personality, so that they are more likely to try/do one thing than another.
