MAP were the ones who funded those two labour clowns' unannounced visit to the West Bank the other week.

Another astonishingly helpful use of public money.

    I knew it <laugh>

MAP just leapfrogged the BBC into 2nd place, with the UN still topping the league.

I agree the bit about burying vehicles sounds well suss. I understand burying bodies.

    Googled and found this article...

    https://www.timesofisrael.com/idf-s...nce-probe-says-troops-told-un-of-burial-site/

    Informing the UN

The IDF also rejected the assertion that troops had buried the bodies in an unmarked mass grave without informing anyone.

Palestinian Red Crescent chief Dr. Younis Al-Khatib had said on Friday that the aid workers were “targeted from a very close range” and that Israel had “kept us for eight days in the dark” as to the whereabouts of the bodies.

According to the military’s initial probe, a deputy battalion commander in Golani and his troops collected the bodies in one spot, covered them with sand, and marked the burial spot.

The army said that burying bodies in this way was an approved and regular practice during fighting in Gaza, to prevent wild dogs and other animals from eating the corpses. (while I accept this as valid reasoning, it still leaves the question to why the vehicles were buried and that does look well dodgy)

The United Nations was promptly notified of the burial spot, the IDF said (I'd like to see verification of this as proof), and was told to come and collect the bodies. The following day, however, the UN was unable to find the location, and the forces were unavailable to assist as they were busy with another task.

The UN was then called to return several days later to collect the bodies, and the bodies were eventually recovered in coordination with the IDF, the initial military probe found.

I get the reasoning, but given that it's all come after the lies have been exposed, it just reads as a list of excuses to try and exonerate themselves.

I'd trust an internal IDF investigation into the incident about as much as I'd trust Postecoglou to lead us out against Real Madrid tonight <laugh>

The UN should be able to confirm the timeline on notification. But yeah destroying and burying ambulances, even my mind can't bullshit round that one, maybe the IDF didn't know how to turn off the flashing lights. <laugh>

Yeah, I mean Ambulances with their flashing beacons, hi-viz livery and blaring horns are known for trying to blend in and be discreet, an easy mistake to make <laugh>

CK will be relieved if the UN publish a report as then he can dismiss it as propaganda

I think if Hamas use emergency services as cover, which I strongly suspect they do, I would need more understanding of the events that occurred that night. Why were the soldiers in such a destructive and killing mindset (it's war!). What had occurred previously before the operatives arrival (had there been a fierce gun battle so they were psyched up). And I'd just like to get my head around why the medics were going there and what were they expecting to find. Also why haven't we seen bodycam footage in past when accusations have been chucked about before, why only on this one ocassion in the last couple of years, or however long this war has been going on. It sounds on the face of it like one massive **** up, and I'm guessing people panicked as what to do, when they realised it was medics they killed, a flashing light might be ignored by someone psyched up and adrenalin pumping.

4 minute VAR check in the Arsenal game.

That's enough time for 25 bullets.

    @bbc to confirm.

Starting from the beginning - a convoy of ambulances set off with lights flashing and sirens blaring to affirm non-combatant status and ensure the safety that is (or should be) recognised under International law (standards) for such vehicles and personnel...

If terrorists had ambushed / blown up an ambulance anywhere else in the world, we wouldn't be looking for a back story ...

The fact that there was both denial and an attempt to cover up the incident and that 'the truth' only came out via a dead medics phone is pretty damning, not just to this incident but to the many claims that Israel / IDF only ever targets military command centres etc ...

10% are brave enough to speak out and be identified ...

Nobody in their right mind can think the current offensive is the best way to recover the remaining hostages alive ...
