Disagree, win your quarter final and focus on the semi once the final whistle has gone. Take Rice off and you lose control of the midfield immediately. Get eliminated and Arteta gets absolutely slaughtered, IMO

I really would take Rice off now. Why take the risk?

 

You cannot say with any certainty that if he’d taken Partay off that the game state is still 1-4.


Particularly as if you’re taking Partay and Rice off you’ve lost the whole midfield

 

I'm not saying he should have taken Partey off earlier. But I don't get why Rice is still on the pitch. The game's done, take him off.

No issue at all with him keeping Rice on providing he’s confident Rice knows it’s imperative he doesn’t get booked
